I think the only way to solve this is to ask ridiculously difficult to answer, somber questions of both of you. Blue, do you believe life begins at conception? Do you support a woman's right to choose? Nebb, do you believe in an afterlife? And go.

I am not sure about that. Maybe it does, maybe it doesnt? I guess when I meet my maker I will find out.

I strongly support a womans right to choos but do not support late term abortions unless the mothers life is in danger.
Maratea & MIAF- Where in Indiana do you guys live? Are you getting married here?
    Posted by *BeachBride0410*
Fort Wayne. I'm already married :) But the ceremony was in my hometown here in IN and the reception was in a neighboring town.
  • MIAF, no way in HELL was I remarrying my ex husband. He came up as a match because he lied about what kind of person he was on his profile (I went to read it before I blocked him). Just like on his Facebook profile. He's a little delusional about how romantic and wonderful and honest and caring he really is. Two jobs in 12 years doesn't = the 12 jobs in the 5 years I was with him.

Patricia Cornwell graduated from my college. Which in some cases, is NBD, but in this case, it is, because it's a pretty small school. She was in one of the first classes to graduate females, and after graduation, she married an English professor. I met her one time when she came to school to do a talk and sign books. She's also established a scholarship there.

  • Question to all knotties- How far in did you kiss your DH/FI?

We kissed the first real date (we went on one that we pretend never happened) but we were friends for 2 years first.
  • I love potato chips. They are my downfall. But I can eat an entire bag of Lays Sour Cream & Onion in one sitting. I also love Crunchers, but I can't find them anymore.

I had ham-flavored Pringles in Spain. Those were kinda gross.
  • Can I ask a serious question? I don't know if anyone will know this, but what situation would exist that would make a partial birth- or late term abortion necessary? I can't think of a medical situation that warrants that. Anyone with medical knowhow?

Blue- How old are you? I pretty much think you are in your early 20s all of the time. No?

All of the theories sound great at the time, but then the next one comes along and I start to believe it. What about the theory where it was some guy that moved to the US continued killing? Have you heard abou that one?
    Posted by cew515
I've heard it, but I think it's a stretch. I can't really explain why, but I don't think he left England. Maybe I like my fantasy of some disturbed serial killer walking around the same town and never getting caught, and his ghost haunting the streets of Whitechapel, which he could do if he died in the US.

  • I gotta stick up for B here and say that I have seen both of you come into these types of threads and comment about the fact that you hadn't been mentioned yet. It's not really a big deal, but it does tend to throw off the flow of the thread because it makes people feel bad so they start asking you questions. It's just kind of annoying.

Blasphemy! Next you'll say you don't like cheese! My favorite are the Kettle Baked ones though. After eating those (or the ones made with malt vinegar) I can't do the regular type of chip anymore.

  • Blue - did you quit drinking entirely on your own, with the aid of a therapist, with the aid of a group, or some combination? Do you ever have a drink?

I ask because H is very, very anti-AA. He quit drinking with the help of a rational-emotive therapist and a secular support group. He also has a glass of wine or champagne or something about once or twice a year.

Well, I guess FI gets a little sad when I end up staying out later than I say I will, because he doesn't get to talk to me that night since I go to bed so early. It always makes me feel bad. So I guess if I had to say anything, it'd be staying out as late as I want guilt-free, but it's such a minor thing. I hate not getting to talk to him just as much, and 90% of the time, I'm only out late because I'm the DD and my friends are very much 20 years old.
  • Question for everyone - What do you miss about the single life? (and you can't say nothing0

I used to fly out (or drive) on a whim to see one of my friends who tours....hanging out on tour buses for days is not quite acceptable to my fiance. It sucks, because we all were just friends and I never did anything remotely trashy with anyone out there. I had seen enough while visitng to know not to touch anyone with a ten foot pole! It was so much fun though, and I got to meet some cool people, so I miss being able to just be spontaneous and go.

Being able to pick up and go whenever I want. I used to go to the movies alone all the time, or out to eat, or anywhere really. Now I either feel bad leaving H home alone or he tags along anyway. I miss going to the movies whenever I want. Other than that, I love not being single. I feel safer with H, happy for the first time in my life, love having someone to come home to.

I am never on early enough which is when the fun threads start. Ill usually throw something out there like "Hi Im here too, can I play?" because Im bored. I didnt realize it was annoying.

But I hardly think its pathetic. Most of the time its just because I am bored.

We don't live together yet and won't til after the wedding but I suspect that I will miss my SSB - secret single behavior. Eventually though I'm sure it will slowly creep out again in a few years.

I never liked the dating scene and sucked at it, so I won't miss being single really at all.
