Re: Morning!

  • Thanks dumdum! Oz was named after Ozzie Smith :)
  • TR- that means we can be neighbors and have playdates when we finally move up there.  Which was talked about again last night. Laughing

  • IUDs freak me out for some reason too.
  • I really want to stop taking Nuvaring, but we don't want to TTC for another 3 years.
  • IUDs freak me out because of the whole risk factor. I know there's a very low risk of it making you infertile or whatever, but still. I want my babies. And because my coworker friend had her's travel up into her uterus and had to have it surgically removed.

  • I've heard IUDs are super painful.
  • Ugh Birdie the arm thing freaks me out too.  I can't remember what it's called.  IUDs don't really freak me out.  I trust my mom not to recommend something to me that has a high risk factor (I hope that doesn't come across like I'm getting defensive).

I just had an OUR put in last week. The doctor told me I did really well. She even put that in the notes. All I kept wondering was if I did well, what the eff does doing bad look like? Edit: IUD not our

  • No it doesn't. I wouldn't expect so many people to get them if they truly were that risky. I'm just a freak :)

  • My Oz was named after the Wizard of Oz, my favorite movie.  Here he is using the toilet.  He taught himself, it was pretty impressive.

This is his brother, Boo.  They are actually littermates even though they don't look alike.

I apologize for the fur baby AWing.

  • Morning all. I'll be going to lunch soon, but I had to pop in and say hey! I love the Oz Santa pic!

I made my Grandma's Christmas present last night. We love to play Scrabble so I made her some ornaments from Scrabble tiles. I have 3 copies of the game. Figured I could spare a set.
  • That's a cute idea, Midge!  Did you glue the tiles into shapes or something?

Say what now? He just one day decided to hop up on the john and go to it?

Pictures speak louder than words: :)
I used the words the candles in an advent wreath represent.

<div>I had some flooding in the basement where their litterboxes are kept.  I had them up on the landing so they didn't have to wade through water to get there, but even so, he wanted nothing to do with that.  So, yeah, he basically just hopped up there to use it.  It was a little strange to have to wait my turn to use the bathroom because the cat was using it.</div>

I wish our cats would learn how to use the damn toilet.
  • I wish he had taught his brother to use it too, but no, he kept his wisdom to himself.

  • How did your cat teach himself to use the toilet?  If we could get a cat who'd do that, I'd get a cat in a heartbeat.

Aren't IUDs more painful for people who haven't had a kid yet since the cervical os is still very small?

Charting is free!  And a bunch of us have done it for months/years without oopsies.
  • We are so doing all homemade presents for everyone this year. Midge I LOVE that idea. My little cousin adores Bananagrams, so that could work for him next year.

  • I wish Tyra would use the toilet. She REFUSES TO BURY HER POOP. I could kill her, but she's too awesome. (I wouldn't really kill her, it's just stinky and infuriating) IUDs scare me too. Charting is the way to go. Hormone drugs are bad news, IMO.

That's my Sweetie is as well, it's like it's just takes too much effort to cover the poop so she just walks away.

I am not sure IUD's, the pill has worked for me i'm a creature of habit.

  • Much more painful Mica. They made me use these pills that would open up my cervix. We are trying the IUD to see if lack of extra hormones is helpful.

  • Hormone drugs are the bomb diggety for me.

They make me not want to die every month.
  • I feel like being on BC for the past 5/6 years has really killed my sex drive. Hmph.
  • I'm off to eat my salad, read my book (and cry). Cya ladies!

Feel free to steal the Scrabble Tile idea. You can make coasters out of them too, just google it!
