PETA was also protesting last year at the March of Dimes walk J and I did.  Along the 3K route there were people with picket signs showing horrible pictures of animals with their brains hanging out and stuff.  They were saying that March of Dimes does animal research and we were supporting cruelty to animals by participating in the walk.  It really bothered me to have to see those signs while I was doing something I thought was good (helping to raise money for reasearch for birth defects).

I've been really down this week. So much is changing in my life and as much as I welcome the change, it's bringing me down.

I think the prices for tickets were reasonable. We had $20 tickets and it in was section 200 but I liked it better. It was $30 for section 100 and I think the first few rows were like $45 - 95. I think thats crazy. It looked empty though. Which kind of made me sad.

We went to see it in FW last summer and sat fairly close.  Bill couldn't remember how much he paid for the seats but we dropped $50 at concessions on hot dogs, sodas and one bag of cotton candy.  I'm pretty sure that he dropped $150 at the very least.  I'm a bit happy after returning from the vet yesterday.  I no longer have fleas!  J/K.  However, the vet we saw yesterday said that doing medication for the hyper thyroid might be better since Sally is just on the higher end of normal and that medication might be the better route.  Sally is so high strung and it can make her sick and all this other stuff.  So...no radioactive iodine for my kitty!!!!

    A. I love animals, especially dogs but PETA is a like an annoying little knat that won't go away. We as citizens have a right to eat a big fat juicy steak if we want to. B. Our "government" is ONE BIG FAT JOKE. C. Happy Hump Day!

I feel really blah today. Last night was just one of "those" nights.  FI was working on building shelves when I came home and he threw a fit the whole time he was working on them. He was cussing up a storm and kicking things because the board he cut didn't fit and it got stuck. Sheesh. Then he went out to mow the lawn and the mower stopped working. Grr... I ended up going to bed around 7 p.m. and not getting up until this morning and I still felt tired and rundown. I not only want a vacation, but I need one for my mental health. FI doesn't have any vacation time saved up at his new job yet though, so I don't want to waste my vacation time if we can't go anywhere. Plus I have my first dress fitting on the 15th and I think I've gained weight since making the appointment : (  Which is making me really mad at myself. So overall I'm feeling pretty grouchy.

I really like this whole eating lunch at home now since the new office is only 5 mins away.  Although days like today, I really just want to stay home with the dog & not go back to work.

Stephie,I am actually referring to the one from yesterday under "How did you meet" about the bachelor party issue.

It's the one under "How did you meet?" Pretty sure it's a different one. Eh. I could see one for "How did you meet" and another post. One of my friends got engaged and posted her pictures on facebook. I am so so happy for her but now every time I log into facebook there are ten notifications telling me someone else commented on the same picture I did... annoying!!Okay ^that^ should not be in italics.. but it's not letting me change it to normal.

Alyssa - I'm with you!  DH has been having a rough time this week and trying to be chipper and supportive and convince him not to get upset, etc. is exhausting.  (And takes up time - so yesterday I missed the gym and made it worse by buying custard to cheer us both up.)  I'm glad to do it, and I know he appreciates it, but I will be so glad when this week is done (assuming nothing falls to pieces).  We're supposed to go see his grandma in the Hill Country for her birthday in a few weeks, and despite having only two vacation days left, I'm tempted to take one of them just to get a bit of a break from life.

I've had a floater in my eye since mid-April. Most days I forget about it, but some days it's so annoying! I wish I could know when it will be gone :(

Really?! You thought it was ok for you to fill out your own employment verification? Really? If they were going to take your word for it they wouldn't fax it to your employer. I seriously question people when stuff like this happens...which is happening more and more lately.

Oh duh, Julie.  Sorry, I'm slow.Congrats on the job Cheryl!I've had floaters for years because I have terrible eyesight.  I'm used to them but yeah, when I get a new one, it's annoying.I hate Facebook.  There's too much going on on there.  It makes me dizzy to even look at it.

Allison,My dad had his floaters lasered away. Oh my gosh, really? My eye doctor told me it should go away in a couple months! How long did he have them and do you think lasering is the only way to get rid of them?
