    What does post-count have to do with reading social cues?

    The volume of your responses arguing the same point would logically lead one to believe that you were pissed off. Not-pissed-off people usually just give up. Just because someone was attempting to be nice doesn't mean you have to condescendingly bring up that you are a more talkative member of the TK boards than she is.

    That's it. I'm done with this entire conversation. Clearly, I created a monster. I guess we can just blame that on my bronze status and call it a day.

    LOL. I love the girls that continue the convos and try to keep it light-hearted like it was meant to be. Sometimes you just can't please everyone. :) lol. Mooooving on now. :) One last thing though... @Steph - the "Oh, honey. I don't usually pull the post count card.." comment was unnecessary. Maybe mostly the sarcastic, "Oh, honey."

    If that was your intent, that's fine. We get it. We know you're probably not laying awake at night stewing over the fact that some mean ladies on TK don't think busty girls should wear strapless dresses. What I thought was unnecessary was your wording/tone.

    I can't speak for everyone here, but as for my own responses to your posts, more than anything, I was trying to make peace by explaining that you may be misinterpreting people's intents. In response, you just kept arguing your same point over and over again and not conceding to anyone in any way. The only time I suggested that you were 'wrong' was when you suggested that saying that there's some huge difference between saying that a dress makes everyone look like crap and a saying a dress makes everyone look like a prostitute. They're both probably offensive to Pnina fans, so all I was trying to say is that the distinction is arbitrary.

    And... now I'm done.

    *whispers* I actually have no issue with cash bars. (Well, as long as something is provided, I don't mind if I have to pay for other options.)

    Well, I kicked a couple of bridesmaids out... but it was mainly because one gained too much weight, and the other one lost a bunch of weight and was therefore skinnier and cuter than me. Couldn't have that, you know. Wink

    And yeah, I don't mind partially hosted bars. I tried like hell (and succeeded) in avoiding it for my own wedding... but have long since come to terms with the fact that if I want a whiskey sour instead of a Miller Light, I'm going to have to fork over a couple of bucks. It's practically a midwestern tradition, after all. At least it's an improvement over the dry, dance-free, church-basement wedding receptions most of my cousins have down in South Carolina.

    Completely agree. At a friend's wedding (that both FI and I were in the WP for) she had a cash bar which I'm totally fine with paying for my own vodka collins especially when the bride doesn't drink at all so didn't really want to provide liquor for everyone, however FI, who is also not a big drinker, was paying for his diet coke's all night, as well. THAT is lame, IMO. At that point, I'd rather it be BYOB because at least then he could have brought in his own can of pop rather then spending $2 a glass.
