I'm going to hop on team Mandy. my H NEVER says mean stuff to me. EVER. even if we're fighting. I'm so lucky to have a man who is nothing but nice and complementary to me. maybe she was harsh with the delivery, but the message she's pushing is a good one.

and celles, every relationship is different. i'm sorry me saying that made you question yours. i suppose if you both fight dirty, you both understand why each other says what they say in the heat of the moment? probably pretty easy to forgive when you both behaved the same way, kwim?

and again, i'm not apologizing for having a husband who doesn't tell me i look bloated today. i am sorry it came out in a "my shiit doesn't stink/braggy way" but how else shall i put it? i am lucky and i am very grateful my husband is who he is.

Like Stacks and Dani said, it's been a slow month. People were still taking sides in the OWN vs. P2 debacle in last week's FFF LONG after they came to an understanding and hugged it out.

Someone should start a board war or something. Take the edge off.

Mandy, I think in the heat of the moment on TK we say a lot of things that don't come across the way that we mean them to. I've read a lot of things that prompted a first reaction of "Oh, HELL no!" and then had the poster reiterate what she meant, and realized that my first reaction was over the top. So I get what you're saying.

And I have massive self-image issues of my own, and FI would never, ever say anything about my appearance to me, so I get being grateful for that. But I know a lot of couples who make fun of each other's appearances and never think one thing about it. So I get AK's POV as well.

I didn't immediately say that I was fine with it, it took a few posts before I thought I should clarify that. So I can see how Mandy thought it was worth jumping all over. In my OP, my comment was "Thaaaanks" which could have meant a multitude of things.

Celles- our relationship is similar. We rarely fight, but when we do the gloves.come.off. And jnic- I'll agree with you too. We're both usually hard to offend and often pick at each other for fun. We know it's in fun and no harm is meant; and if one of us says something in fun that ends up being hurtful, we bring it up immediately and make it right.

Celles- totally not FFF related, but you should check out a book called "Non-violent Communication". A friend had it and I started reading it... it was really really interesting and great stuff. You're not a bad person, nor is your relationship doomed

I'm just going to put out here that I give an overall flame to everyone for saying "It's so slow" but aren't really doing anything to help it along. Sure, I made threads about jeans and wellies yesterday, but jeez, at least that was an effort to get things going on here.

Yeah us too. Frankly I would get bored if we weren't allowed to tease each other. To each their own though I don't think there is any reason to judge each others relationships unless it's something obvious, like physical abuse, cheating, etc,
