I tried to make som moroccan food tonight, it ended up not being as morrocany as I wanted. Hrmph.

Hi ladies! I am super excited that I just put our desk back together and got the desktop set up. Freaking Ikea and their pictures only directions. But after almost 4 hours I finally finished it all. Now I just made a frozen pizza and watching A Cinderella Story on ABC Family. Yep, I'm aware that i'm a dork.

Hi!!

I'm here. Just got H's friends out the door. They came by to fix the wall they messed up getting our extra fridge out of the basement last night and also to pick up the dressers I was getting rid of as they have a use for them.

I am eating leftover taco meat with cheese and sour cream on top - scooping with tostito's. Yum

I broke my Droid today, so now I am a proud owner of a new iPhone 4S. I can't get it to sign itself up for "cloud". I'm done effing with it for the day.

Hello!

I didn't leave school until 7 tonight. =( Totally swamped with grading right now. H is driving in from 6 hours away, so he'll be here around 10. I'm contemplating finishing off a bottle of wine I bought last night, but then I'll be too tired to stay up when he gets here. =(

And one of the DFW knotties invited a bunch of us to her wedding tomorrow so I am excitedddd.

I enjoyed reading FFF on my conference period.

Me too Strlz. I love the desk we have, just hate the setup. Luckily parts of it were still together so it wasn't a complete re-assembly, but for the most part it was. It just annoyed me that our movers broke it down to get it out of the house, but didn't tell me that they wouldn't be able to put it together. He said "if your H was here I would have had him do it, but since it was just you I did it for you." I get that, and thanks. But at least you could have let me know so I would have watched you take it apart, or I could have just done it myself. Then I would have known how to put it together.

Oh well, it's over and done, and back together pretty painlessly, so I can't really complain.

I love window-shopping at Ikea.com but I never ever go there and buy anything. Mainly because the one in CT is ridiculously busy, all the time.

I'm going to have a few things to put back together when I get my stuff out of storage, but since I'm the one who took everything apart I'm thinking I should be able to get it put back together easily. That being said, I got rid of some things that were falling apart (like my bookcase) that I'll need to replace, so I'll be making a trip to IKEA eventually.

The nearest one (that I know of) is 20 minutes from my mom & dad's house, but I haven't actually stepped foot in it in close to 10 years (which somehow doesn't make sense to me, but it must be true).

I'm okay with Ikea. I wouldn't decorate a whole room in their stuff cause it's not my style, but we bought a headboard and two nightstands for our room, and a bookshelf for another room. They will all be replaced at some point when I have a larger house and the $$ to buy the cherry wood sleigh bedframe that I really want.

Several rooms at my sister & BIL's house look like you stepped into an IKEA setup. When they lived in OH, they would go to IKEA EVERY TIME they visited my parents.
