Morning! I'm currently baking a breakfast goodie to take to my office Christmas party this morning and the smell is making my stomach growl.

I can't wait to give my niece this:

She's 11 months now so she's really just starting to walk around the room holding onto furniture, so we're hoping this will really get her moving.

Good morning!!! That is the most depressing news article I think I've ever read.

I'm most excited to give my brother's wife a necklace I had made for her. I think she's gonna love it.

I actually am pretty proud of my Christmas shopping this year. I think I did pretty well for everyone.

I love watching people open presents too! I'm supposed to be done shopping, but I can't help myself. I'm sneaking off at lunch to go buy more presents. I hate shopping except for Christmas, I guess I'm just much better at buying stuff for other people.

Morning. I JUST came up with what to get my BIL, so right now I'm pretty excited about that. We're giving him a Swiss Army Knife, which I think he'll really like because he was a boy scout and is outdoorsy. He was hard to shop for - no specific hobbies, downloads pirated games for his Xbox so there was no point buying a legit one, ditto music.

I have to bake 8 pans of lemon bars in the next two days. I am not excited about that.

Good Morning. I'm excited to give the nieces and nephews their gifts. They're the only ones we'll see actually opening their gifts this year so it'll be nice to see their faces.

That is a sad and terrible story Stacks. I can't imagine what the woman of those three children must already be going through. Then to find out her parents were killed in a crash. So sad.

Good morning! IT'S THE LAST DAY!!!! I just pray it's not as bad as yesterday. We all wanted to shoot each other by lunch time.

But tonight? We're headed to the Zappos outlet. Everything is automatically 50% off retail and then tonight, it's 70% off that. Uggs are $25. We're going to get a few pairs of shoes and put them under the tree to beef it up. We only got each other 2 presents each, so it's really naked.

I'm not really excited about any of the presents. I just got H a new electric razor and some cologne. We haven't even gotten his parents anything yet. H's effing mom spilled what he got me. I acted like I didn't hear and I think I have him convinced, but I'm still pissed. It was my only surprise since I knew what I was getting for my birthday.

Good morning, everyone!

I've got a buttload of work to do today, so I won't be around too much. Just checking my email, voice mail, etc. and eating my breakfast. Then off we go.

I have a somewhat funny story for you all. We got a Christmas card in the mail yesterday from H's aunt and uncle. Without going in to too much detail, nobody in the family really likes these two. At all. But they did come to our wedding, and they got a Christmas card with wedding photos from us too.

The funny thing is, we got a Christmas card already from them last week. Hehe. Someone apparently forgot to check us off their list.

That really is an awful story. That pisses me off around the holidays. Front page of my parents paper this weekend was this girl who had Lou Gherkins disease. Talked about how she and her boyfriend were so in love and they had a 'friendship ceremony' and how he wouldn't leave her and he asked her to wait in heaven for him. I was balling. Then I was pissed they put it on the front page. She wasn't even local!

Morning! I'm feeling extra good since I slept from 5:30 last night to 7 this morning. Yeah, I guess I needed it.

I'm most excited to give my niece her presents. I got her an easel and one of those old school Fisher Price cars that are orange with the yellow top. I can't find a picture at the moment. She's so fun right now (she's 2 AND A HALF!)

And I bought J new Oakley sun glasses that he wanted and didn't think he was getting because they're so damn expensive. But whatever. So he'll be super surprised.

ETA: Okay, it's little tykes not fisher price.

Fish, it is a crapload of lemon bars. But last year they were the big hit when I made several kinds of cookies, so guess what, aunts and uncles, you get lemon bars for Christmas.

I don't know how it went

I found out I was lied to I guess. There are 2 other candidates. I just couldn't get a read on any of them. I'd answer a question and they'd just be all 'ok' and move on. I just didn't feel like I connected with any of them because it was so rushed and there were 3 of them. I guess I've kinda given up on the job. If it happens, wonderful. If not, I won't be so let down.

Yes, there's an outlet. If you can get over the squicky part of it, it's fine. It's stuff that was returned. But it only goes in the outlet if it was returned for not fitting or clearly it wasn't really worn.

LVB that sucks you know your presents.

My mom called me this morning because she went shopping with my sister yesterday and my sister went over to look at cricut stuff. Nobody in our family has a cricut and my mom instantly knew that my 16 year old brother worked so hard to come up with the money himself to buy her a cricut. Cutest thing EVER and now it's not even a surprise. She said she still knows she's going to totally cry opening that up from him because it's so thoughtful of him to buy her something like that. But baggeeezus sister do you have to ruin everything?!?!?! It's just so typical her type of behavior to be reckless like that.

I hate ruining surprises! I mean, I was happy I knew what I was getting for my birthday because they were BIG presents. I got the Cricut and an $800.00 sewing machine. So I was more pumped about the gifts than the surprise. But I knew that meant I wouldn't get much for Christmas, so it was mroe about the surprise and to see how thoughtful H could be. Well, he was thoughtful. I mentioned I wanted a Key shaped black diamond necklace (more like chips, not big diamonds) months and months ago. I was helpign FIL set up his redonk printer when I heard MIL ask H, did she like the necklace???, Oh, that's for Christmas? I can imagine H was furious. I didn't even turn my head because I didn't want him to know I knew.

Cause you think I didn't get the job and now I'm probably fired from my current one? :(

My only saving grace is that my boss really likes me. And they simply can't afford to 'train' anyone else. So I can't imagine they're going to fire me to bring in this new girl that my recruiter is sending over.
