She hasn't done that in about five years. Bummer too cuz she'd be cheap for the DD's shindig. Oh well. I'm sure said sister will be boozin' it up with me at the bar. Heck, maybe we'll shove cake in each others' faces. She is my a pretty fun sister.

I got a tour of our county jail when I was in high school for something. I think my poli-sci class went. I could be remembering it wrong though.

Poke, If you mean mbuckley it was about a groomsman who had a beard she and her Fi didn't like and they wanted to know how to tell thim to neaten it. She posted that her FI told her if he'd known he was going to have the beard he wouldn't have asked him to be in the BP. Posting that here on E had the expected effect.

Did you get to hang w/ the prisoners, Loops? One of the main power sources was down so they were on generator power, which meant the inmates were on lockdown. So we got to go into where they normally are hanging out (playing games, reading, showering, etc) and see them all in their cells. Normally laypeople aren't allowed in there, just COs. Kinda creepy.

Hockey- I thought of you a little ago.. as I said H and I are cleaning up and i was about to throw away a perfectly good winter hat. And then I thought about what you told me about the kids not having clothing. I was like I should send this! It's brand new.

Wally, its the detention center where everyone who gets arrested in our county goes before trial or sentencing. Most stay there for a week or so. The crimes vary from misdemeanor to murder, etc.

She made sashes for her BMs. That was how she asked them to be in her wedding. She was also making sashes for her MIL and mother and grandmother I believe?

She posted pics of her asked her MOH in a fitting room with the MOH shocked and wearing the sash.

Loopy, I am also glad that H and I agreed that the cake smash was unnecessary.

I went to college in a prison town, and the Criminal Justice classes got to tour the prisons. i was always wishing I could do that too, just because I'm curious.

I did, however, go to the prison museum. That's right, be jealous.
