It's so weird what we remember from TK. I bet some of the people who said this stuff don't even remember saying it - but obviously it stuck with us.

Anyway, in late Dec/Early Jan last year, Salt started a UO thread (that turned out to be more popular that she thought, I guess) where her UO was that she didn't like me. Everyone started agreeing with her and it was just a huge pile-on. It was right after I thought I was starting to be more accepted, so it was kind of a crushing blow. That's really the only thing that's really stuck with me, TK wise.

Fish sent me a message and told me to buck up - I love that girl.

When I first started posting there was a girl named Tink or Tinkerbell or something like that. She started some kind of random poll every day and was a little trashy. I remember a lot of people giving her a bunch of shiit and she just kept on posting like it never happened. One day she just disappeared.

This is really random, but LDY, I remember lurking when that happened to you. And then sometime a few months later, you said something about being in the mood to "mess with some newbs" or something along those lines. I remember thinking that was really strange, since you had been so sensitive when people did that to you when YOU were a newb.

I usually have a horrible memory, so I'm not sure what made that particular thing stick.

It was more than likely sarcastic, but also possible. I remember the hazing (for lack of a better term) and I might have been worked up to see it happen to someone. I suck sometimes.

I was never hazed. Saying dumb stuff and being told its dumb isnt hazing, its the truth. It only seems like newbs get hazed because they generally say dumb stuff cause they dont know whats going on yet.

admittedly "hazed" isnt the right word. But I do think everyone has their "acceptance process" - I could be wrong, but I dont think anyone came in here and was super duper uber popular right off the bat. And, I think this thread kinda shows that everyone has had their "eh, that sucks, I didn't exactly enjoy that moment on TK" moment...

Maybe I'm just crazy. That happens.

I think I slipped in during a weird gap of the TK time-space continuum or something, because my first thread was absolutely about someone posting on my FB wall about how I better invite them to the wedding and HOW RUDE ARE THEY?!?!?

But I totally got in good with Fishy right away, bonding over the ND flooding. So maybe that's why.
