Re: Confessions

  • That thread about when a kid has ruined your wedding. It was at the end of the thread.
  • NCIS is awesome! How could anyone not like that show?

In fact, I need to leave to do that right now. See you later, ladies!

yeah, I'm gonna need to know what kinda undies you sleep in. Not in a creepy way, I'm just wondering what makes them awesome lol.
  • MS, I definitely change after working out. I change all my clothes, so I wouldn't not change the item of clothing that's closest to my sweaty skin.

He's CONVINCED it's just like every other police procedural on TV.  I can't convince him that it's as much character-driven as procedural.

He admitted that the sequence with the Reynosa cartel was interesting... but he still won't watch it!  And he complains whenever I have it on.

Ditto this! I know people think I am weird, but I just take really good care of my teeth and am a freak about oral hygeine. I go for my 6 month cleaning/check-up next week.

Hahah. I like to wear the boyshort ones to bed. Then if it isn't super cold out, I don't even have to worry about wearing anything else because they cover enough and don't give me that wedgie feeling while sleeping (TMI?). Not really a specific brand that I prefer, but I usually get them all at target.

Well, I never wear underwear when I work out. Is that weird? I always wear leggins or spandex shorts or running shorts with the built in undies things.

And LDY, I don't know what Musical wears, but I love Gap underwear. They are so comfortable and they usually have a box full of ones on sail for like $3.99.

Yeah, the idea of it just really grosses me out. I also have a plethora of workout clothes/sweats/etc because of my years in dance but want to buy more all the time. It's a problem.

  • If I am wearing a leotard, I won't wear underwear but that is the only time---but then again I don't have anything spandex or legging-esque so that is probably why. :)

  • LDY, I don't want to threadjack the other thread, and you seem to be more in here anyway: I am really really glad that you feel like I've given you helpful advice, and the couple times you've said so, it's really made me smile :)

I love Spandex. I think it is so comfy. Sometimes I wish I were still in elementary school and it was still the early 90's so I could wear spandex shorts and oversized tees everywhere.

Those are the best underwear EVER. I got my MOH and my boss hooked on them. Theyr'e always on clearance eventually so we have "last season's underwear" but they're like $2 a pair and it's like your butt is being cupped with awesome. I love them. I have a pair of white w/ blue stripes that were my wedding undies. Something blue!
  • Anna, I think that's a little weird. I won't hold it against you or anything, but I definitely do wear underwear even if I'm wearing those kind of bottoms. The shorts with built-in underwear also kind of creep me out (our HS soccer uniforms had those shorts), so no way would I have given up having a barrier between them and me.

MS - when I used to teach dance, I would well not quite laugh, but was amused by the little 5 year olds with their underwear sticking out of their leotards.  That is DEFINITELY not done by the older girls.

Le sigh . . . I need to get back to ballet class and get some more use out of my leo's.

Well, I own all the shorts I have like that. I would have worn something under uniform shorts for sure.
  • LDY-- I think those are pretty similar to the kind I like, :) I love how cozy boyshorts are!

MP-- Yeah, I teach little girls too and I giggle at their undies sticking out of the leos. I can't even imagine how uncomfortable it would be to wear something underneath a leo. I mean, they have the pantyliner in them for a reason!

[QUOTE]I confess that I know I actually have a typo in my post (it says "picture" instead of "pictures"), and it bothers me. I do not like typos, but I'm not allowing myself to go back and edit it because I know that would be overkill. Mandy, how does this underwear changing work when you're working? I'm all for being clean, but I think the pros of fresh undies are outweighed by the cons of walking around your office with the used pairs in your purse.

  • I <3 you Emily!! It's truuuuue!

Musical...because I'm weird, next time I'm at the store, if I see some of them on clearance I'm going to message you and get your size and send them to you. I've already converted 2 people, I'll add more to my army.

I should just buy a lot and start a thread telling people to send me their underwear size and address and send them out. Not that that would be uber creepy or anything.

Ditto, except replace Catholic with Lutheran.  But I made him agree that once the kids are old enough to make the decision for themselves, they can decide whether they want to continue to go to church or not.  Also, I'm not 100% sold yet on private school (he went to one, so he thinks our kids should do the same).
