I know nothing about Count of Monte Cristo. So I avoided that portion of your answer. Do you have a countdown to Christmas year-round, or does it start closer to the day of?

I had the BEST interview ever the other week. It was over an hour, it went by in what seemed like 15 minutes, and I don't know that they asked me a single relevant question. I felt like I was chatting with friends. I don't know how that bodes for my chances at the job, but I had a good time.

Ash - I love your siggy pic. Makes me giggle everytime I see it. AND shaun of the dead is one of my favs too. BFF and I always get off the phone saying bye like shaun and his GF do.
My fav movie? I have no idea. Top 3 - Steel Magnolias, Shaun of the Dead, Snatch. 3 very different movies. What the hey does that say?

I had a hiring manager like that. He didn't want to offer someone because they were "strange and unusual". We had to have a chat about that.

I think it's a good sign. Unless you got too comfortable and overshared. But the people that I hire to be my peers are generally the ones that I can chat with, that's way more important to me.

You're probably OK. I had a girl tell an employer in extensive detail about her flip flop collection, that was an over share. Once, we had an employer ask a guy for an example of a time he gave great customer service, and he told them that once he was bartending and there was a really drunk guy in the bar hitting on all the women, so he put all their drinks on the drunk guy's tab without telling him. He didn't get hired.
