  • Um I always put my shirts on first. Pants are always last. But that is probably because, like Alix, I put my shirts on from my feet, so pulling them over pants would be annoying.

  • I turn into mega baby when I have to get my blood drawn. I whine and everything. But I'm totally fine with tattoos. Actually, the whole process kind of turns me on. I'm a weirdo.

Oh and I discovered another thing today that makes me almost vomit. Beard hair. You don't want to know how I found this out.

  • I have to eat things in pairs of two.  This cracked up my brother and FI on a road trip last summer.  I was eating trail mix, and I had to have two peanuts, two raisins, two M&Ms (of the same color), etc.

Also, I cannot stand it if someone watches me spit after brushing my teeth.  I make FI turn around.
  • If I tried stepping into my shirt my fatass would stretch out the neckline horrible.  Needless to say, I don't do it.

  • Man, if I tried to put tops on from the feet up, I would rip them. I don't think I could get my necklines over my bum.

When I eat M&Ms or Skittles, I rip a tiny hole in the corner of the bag and then squeeze them out one by one. This is because it makes me anxious to look at the colors all together because I feel like I need to sort them then and come up with a scheme for eating them, so I try not to look in the bag to save myself the mental trouble.

  • I'm really super good at remembering number sequences. It comes from working at a bank for 4 years. J thinks I'm crazy because I memorized his SSN, credit card numbers, and account numbers within a few tries. I also have all of my account numbers/CC numbers memorized, of course. I got a new debit card a few weeks ago and had the new 16 digit number memorized after one day. I also remember the weird 3 digit codes on the back of our cards.

Hi Twin. FI has not seen this occur yet. I've told him about it and he's gone to the doctor with me before, but not when they've drawn blood. He says he'll be okay with it and I believe him. I am however, embarassed that I will act like this in front of him someday.

Thinking about this just made me think of another one. I can't go to the doctor by myself because I'm afraid they'll ask for bloodwork and I'll have no one there to support me. This is why FI has gone with me before but no bloodwork wound up happening.

Ha, Midge, the last time I had to have blood drawn, it was the total opposite. We both got cholesterol tests done at a health fair in the town where his parents live (and work-MIL is a nurse and FIL is a doctor). I had both H and MIL hovering over me while I had blood drawn, because they were afraid I would pass out. It was a little disconcerting, having so much attention while I was staring at the ceiling. People were getting blood drawn all around me; the ceiling was the only safe place to look.
  • At first I thought I wouldn't have anything weird to confess and now after reading so many of these I realize I do a lot of these things, lol.

I eat my m&m's by color and am also mad if I don't have one of each color.
I also eat all the chocolate off the kit kat bars before eating the main part of the bar.

I can't stand the thought of something in the water touching me: dead fish, live fish, seaweed, etc.

I associate the letter F with the number 5 so much that I often type 5 in place of F when attempting to spell out 5

My strangest one by far is that I type out words with my fingers all the time regardless of not being at a keyboard.  When I was little I would do this and I have to make all words come out evenly (usually in 4's)...like spelling out "how many" I would have to capitalize the H in how in order to count it as a 8 and then with 6 letter words in order to make them come out to 8 I would for example do this:

Word - apples  apapples, appleses, applples - I spell the first two letters twice first, then the last two letters twice second and then the middle two letters twice third.  I know I know I'm weird!

Thing was when I was little I did the spelling of these in my head and at one point was able to get myself to stop, but once I learned to type I do this constantly.  Whether I'm having a conversation with someone or watchg a move w/ FI.  I've even been known to be typing out what they're saying in the movie on FI's leg.  It really annoys him.

I like things to be even also as noted by my typing/spelling issue above.  I continually work on this though b/c I think it is some type of OCD sign and I don't want it to get worse so I try to stop myself when I realize I'm typing things/spelling things out in my head or with my fingers (kind of hard though when my job requires me to type all of the time)

  • I'm not at all afraid of needles, and always watch when I get my blood drawn.  But these stories remind me of the last time I had it drawn which was before my surgery.  Since I was heavily medicated from my wrist my aunt drove me to my appointment, and my Godson, who was 2 and a half at the time was with us.  When it was time for my bloodwork she went to get the car and left him with me.  He wanted to "protect me" from the needle, and was covering my eyes and kept saying "you''ll be okay."  It was too cute!

haha wow that is impressive! I probably would have to focus to remember that---it has to be something I really value in order to remember it, I guess. There were just SO many sequences of numbers to remember while at the bank, and I still remember all of them. I could go back and do any transaction no problem.

  • Oh I also have to have a drink on hand at all times.  I used to get made fun of at work for having lke 4 waters on my desk ready to drink.  I can't stand the thought of being thisty so much that I keep my water bottle beside my bed at night and just before I'm about to actually go to sleep I have to have one last drink b/c I'm afraid if I'm thinking about being thirsty before bed I'll dream that I'm super thirsty and can't have a drink, lol.

If I watch those ghost shows or a scary movie at night I have to watch a half hour funny before bed.

The car accident thing too.  I imagine myself wrecking, but then being okay.  I think it's an invincibility complex, lol.

Oh and I think finally I too watch them when they stick needles in me.  I think I'm more afraid they're going to screw it up and kill me or something.
