  • Done with our walkthrough, the lady was early so we're buying some ice and weighing our cars, then hitting the road. Woohoo!

  • I felt bad, les, because he was trying to be nice and get the kitchen clean before I got up, and I had to go out and tell him it was wrong. He reloaded it totally wrong but I didn't say anything, just turned it on. I'll let him have that much, at least, haha. Maybe I'll make a "clean" sign too.

kd, I hear that woman is a nutjob. Stay away!
  • Celtic, you and me both. I have little desire to see it. With that said, I'm not a big movie person anyways. I get supr antsy and if there's a pet in the movie...fuhgetaboutit. They always die and I get anxious. I'm strange.
  • Well, all of you have fun on your GTGs!

I want a dishwasher. All I have is a husband and he's getting tired of it :P  At least we're house-hunting as soon as we get back from Hawaii.
  • Frick I forgot to run the damn dishwasher again.

  • FI and I will really be living large when we get a dishwasher one day. Lol. I was spoiled growing up with a dishwasher and central air... I have neither of them currently. Its fun I can sweat while washing dishes.
  • jcb - yes, we'll be on I-70.  Sounds great (although a detour would be fine too, since we're not in a hurry and very flexible on time/place).  I'll text you to iron out details.   8-)

  • lbarr - the townhouse my girlfriends and I rented in Forks before I moved to Fargo had no air and no dishwasher, either.  I was seriously miserable living there, lol.  When I got my own apartment those were two things I made sure I had.  NEVER.  AGAIN.

[QUOTE]Celtic Magic Mike could have been cast with Drew Cary, Celo Green and Keith Richards and I would still rather see it than ANYTHING Kristen Stewart has or will ever be in.

<div>I hear ya. She's the only reason I haven't seen it yet and am not positive I'll see in in the theater. I think she is godawfully terrible. I also don't get how she could possible be deemed "the fairest." Whoever cast her in this should be fired. </div>

  • We didn't start using the dishwaster until a couple months ago. I think it's a waste of water but at this point, I'm too damn exhausted all the time to wash the dishes myself and attempt to keep everything else clean too.

I was reading in IMDb that Alcide from TB almost passed on his part in Magic Mike because he already spends a lot of time with his shirt off on TB. He was afraid that doing the MM part would make guys hate him (because he's so gloriously muscled) and the director (or someone else maybe) was like, "Men already hate you. Brad Pitt spent the first 15 years of his career shirtless, and he's doing pretty well for himself."

Seriously, Alcide. MM is for your female fans. Take it off.
  • N's apartment in IN was $400/month and had a dishwasher and stackable washer/dryer unit.

Our apartment is $1250/month and has nothing. Except the mouse, of course.

So basically, fvck you, Indiana ;)

Train him to wash the dishes, win-win! ;)

I have never in my 46 years had a DW. So, having one will not be a big deal, plus with it just being 2 of us, I'm with you Sesh it seems like a waste of water.

EXACTLY.  Or cast someone hideous as the queen, instead of goddamridicufuckinglouslygorgeous Charlize Theron.
  • I am immune to the allure of chiselled abs. I think that is why it doesn't appeal to me.

I'm so used to not having a dishwasher. There are very few apartments in the city that aren't "luxury" units that have them. Of course, FH is responsible for doing the dishes so it doens't much matter to me. I would like to have central air though and I'd kill for a washer/dryer in unit.

  • Celtic, Alcide (I don't even know his real name, Joe something?) is more than just chiseled abs. That is one huge hunk of gorgeous man right there. I want him to hug me.

That's what my mom's students sometimes call her, Mrs. Cinderely. Apparently our last name is to hard for them to pronounce right.

    Celtic, told ya.

  • I just created a document that has timelines for everything, lists of pictures to be taken, directions, maps, etc.. for our wedding part and vendors and it is FIFTEEN pages long.

    Is that ridiculous?

    Yes. Lol.

How many timelines do you need? My timeline was this: 2pm, get married. Everything else will happen at some later time.  My DJ and photog kept the day moving otherwise.

It's an OOT wedding so basically it has maps and directions to several places, a timeline for the guys and girls, the prcessional order, times for everything, etc..

I'm pretty much a crazy person when it comes to organizing and planning something with this many details.

Oh, I hear you, I am crazy organized.  Our wedding was OOT for most of our guests and almost all of our family members, plus we had four events that weekend, including Thanksgiving dinner. It was insane! But we just gave people the necessary information and trusted they'd be there. It all worked out perfectly.

It also helped that we arranged transportation on the day-of. And by arranged, I mean my amazing friend handled it :P
