[QUOTE]I baked about 11 dozen cookies last night. I'm just glad to be done.

Damn, that is a lot salt. I guess that answers my question then about it being too early to start baking.
  • It was. :) Luckily most of them are out of the house already. (For coworkers.)

  • Don't worry Loopy. I didn't work out today at the gym either, even though I said I was going to. I did a lot of running around and had to park the car really far out if that counts. I also did some stretching and sit-ups in the house.

I am just glad I got the shopping for H done, so that way tomorrow I can go to the gym, wrap and bake.
  • I made 6 dozen last week, but I took more than half to a work christmas thing.  The other half I'm resisting fairly well.
  • I cannot make cookies.  I will eat them all.  I only had a couple of treats at work today.  I was proud of myself.

  • I worked out yesterday.  I will again tomorrow - 30DS is waiting in the DVD player for me to turn it on in the morning.
  • Yeah, I just wasn't that on top of things to take cookies to work by last Friday. Oh well, I plan on taking some to a few friends' houses we are going to in the next few days.
  • I love Christmas baking the most. :) The house is decorated all pretty and then it smells like chocolate chips. I feel like I'm finally all the way in the holiday spirit.

Plus my shopping is like 99.9% done so that helps too.

  • Loopy - I did the exercise game on Kinect.  It kept yelling at me!  Squat lower!  Feet further apart.  I guess it was right, cause damn  I'm sore.  My neighbor is draggin me back to Bickram in Januray.

Haha I was all up in a thing of caramel popcorn at work today. Luckily I got a little bit of cardio and a yoga class in afterwards.

  • I'm not worried about my weight today. I have eaten nothing but crap today and there is nothing anyone can do to stop me.

I know what you mean. That is why I am going to wrap them up in cute little Christmas baggies and put the people's names on them that I am taking them to. Maybe it will help the scale from going up over the next few days.
  • It's making me want to get pregnant though, which I can't do for at least 10 more months!

I went crazy in the kitchen the past two nights dipping grapes, strawberries, and peanut butter balls in chocolate. I made two cheeseballs tonight and will be making one or two chocolate chip pies tomorrow.
  • YAY.  I will try Yoga one of these days - maybe in January.
  • I've discovered I love holiday baking too. I just want to be done with work though. They pissed me off today. Every department got a "holiday gathering" where they got to leave for drinks at 4 except my department. I called BS.
  • Yum, chocolate chip pies - I have never heard of those before.
  • You know what is delicious Biride?  Green grapes dipped in white chocolate then dipped in crushed peanuts.  It tastes like a taffy apple.  Delish.

  • Ciara, I am 100% certain you have earned it.

I promise you that you will love it. It is my favorite thing in the whole wide world. Besides my husband and my cats.

  • I've never tried that KJB! I could eat chocolate covered grapes all day long. They're by far my favorite. I'm hoping the PB balls turn out well.It was my first time trying and I was afraid I didn't have enough PB. You would think they would list "cups" somewhere on the jar, but alas they don't. I had to just eye it.
  • Ok, I am off to the shower, but I will be back in a few.
  • I'm only about 10 minutes into this documentary and I think I'm ready to phone up LVB's midwife.
  • Are you going to have a waterbirth Birdie?

    I'M TELLIN YA!

  • Birdie - you sound like you're on about the same timeline as me, I hope.
  • My SIL also loves Yoga... my biggest fear (besides looking like an idiot when I lose my balance and fall over) is knowing whether I've picked a good studio to go to so I can learn.

Haha no I think the water birth is a little too far out there for me, but this is pretty convincing on having a midwife. But, apparently they're illegal in KY? LVB told me we'll have to go to Indiana if we want one. That's crap.

Loopy, right now I'm on the 1.5-2 year plan. We get married in November and the "plan" is to wait a year, but you know how that goes. I was supposed to move here in November 2008 and ended up coming at the end of June. I'm not very patient.

BTW, I was gone this afternoon. Is there anything in that confessions thread I should read?
  • Ugh, I'm so bummed. I have all these cookies, I figured out how to decorate them...and I can't :( I think I have begining arthritis. My tip finger joints just can't do it. So I have really tasty naked cookies :(

  • I have to stop baking things.  H eats them all up, and he's getting a tummy.

Kjb, it's unlikely.  H wants a new car for himself.  I can't imagine him buying me one.  Maybe he'll put a bow on his own car and give it to me.  :P
  • Salt, any cookies left for yours truly?  I'll trade you some fudge!
