It was a first for me. The few newbs that PMed me asked questions they didn't want to ask on E, but usually nothing too dramatic or embarrassing.

Hardly slammed. I think she mentioned in another thread that she just quit smoking. I think she's more sensitive than the average newb.

I just got back from taking Tory out. I can't wait to have a quiet neighborhood and backyard for her. I hate taking her out in the courtyard of the complex. There are always other dogs & their owners out there and Tory gets SO excited. Which is normally fine, but whenever the other dog gets near her, she gets all jumpy and runs around super fast and that still is something we should avoid with her rehab. It is REALLY hard to stop her though, especially when the other owner encourages it by trying to pet her. Blargh.

Some people are just way too sensitive. I cannot imagine why some people come into E guns blazing and not even looking around at a few threads to see how it goes?? That is so weird.

I think sometimes people have wedding blinders on, and tend to come around when they are at a peak of stress and aren't thinking logically. At least that is what I tell myself in order to keep perspective and hope people aren't all really that nuts. ;)

I feel so bad for her because she is feeling a lot better, but not good enough to be 100% puppy again. But she WANTS to, so badly. I wish I could just let her be the crazy energy dog that she wants to be. As I write this, she is laying next to me in bed and giving me this look that makes me wanna melt.

Haha, that is so cute MS! I do it with my cat from time to time but my doggies are so crazy they are always covered in dirt and drool, so I try to keep my face away from them haha. I usually just kiss their noses though, that seems to be a safe place.

Thanks!! His name is Samson, he's a baby still, about 8 weeks. A Lionhead bunny :P We're working on Litter training him, he actually does really well, and has free reign of the bedroom for about 4+ hours a day

He's not stinky, rabbits are very clean animals

They just get stinky when people keep them in cages, which really isn't ideal for rabbits, I have him in a exercise pen + his cage is always open to the pen area, so he's got a bit of room when he's not playing in the bedroom. He goes in a litter box like a cat

Cats and rabbits actually get along more often than not, I believe. Not sure how to test that though.
