Sending a PM?

Am I missing something? I can't figure out how to send a PM. I've done it before and now I don't remember how I did it. Help please

If you find one of their old posts, there is the option to send a private message, in green, beside the option to quote their post. I have never been able to send a PM

At the bottom of a post by somebody it will say private message. Just click that and you can send them a PM
