I'm 21 and FI is 26, We've been together for 3 years, We have two fur kids see pic below. Two weeks from tomorrow :) 11/3. Funny FI wanted to do 11-11 because our birthdays are 3-3 and 8-8 and add those numbers you get 11-11, but that date didn't work so it's 11/3 :)

Favorite Movie: Thats a really hard one, older movie would be gone with the wind, newer movie- not really sure.

We love crime TV, Criminal Minds, Law and Order, NCIS, oh and the big bang theory :) I've also become addicted to The voice( and american idol when it's on)

Favorite color is Orange and FI is blue- which works because we're gators :)

I'm 30, H is 27. We have been married 1 year 9 months, dated/engaged for 16 months before that, so almost 3 1/2 years.

Not of our own - I guess technically Junior (a black lab) belongs to H, but lives at his parents' house.

Why did you choose that date/significance?
No real significance. We were long distance and didn't want a long engagement. We picked a 3 day weekend to make travel easier for our OOT guests. We discovered later that our date is a palindrome, which is cool - 11611.

I usually lurk over here, but most of the other boards are pretty dead, so I figured I'd join in.

How long have you been together? 6 years tomorrow.

Occupations- Yours and FI/H? I'm an Operations Manger, FI is a Brand Manager.

Do you have any pets? Yes, Leonidas the 4 year old yorkie poo.

Wedding Date? 2 weeks from today - 11/2/12.

Why did you choose that date/significance? We were hoping for 10/20/12, but that didn't work out. It was the closest date to 10/20/12 that any venue in our area had available.

Favorite movie: For Love of the Game.

Favorite musician: Weezer, Incubus, Senses Fail, the old Muse, etc.

Favorite author? I don't really have a favorite. I love reading though. Right now I have about 20 or 30 pages left in the 3rd book of The Maze Runner trilogy (aside from the cheesy PG version of swear words, I really like the series). Next up, The Night Circus.

Do you have any pets? Not with us: we rent and aren't allowed to have animals. We have a cat--Francis Binx--at his mom's house, and a dog (Possum) and a cat (Snowball) at my parent's house.

Why did you choose that date/significance? Mainly, we wanted an outdoor wedding without the humidity of Kentucky summers, and it avoided graduations and such.

Yours/FI or H age? How long have you been together? I'm 46, my H is 50. We have been together what will be 9 years in January 2013.

Occupations- Yours and FI/H? I am a Administrative Assistant in a Mall Management office. My H has a weird title, but he is basically a engineer that does marketing.

Do you have any pets? YES! We have Atticus or 7 month old Doberman, and my sweet kitty Tobie.

Why did you choose that date/significance? Well it took H long enough to propose , 6 years, and 5 of that Long Distance. But his daughter was in Ireland and we knew we wanted the kids there, and we wanted a spring wedding on Charleston. So May it was.

Favorite musician: I have a lot it depends on the genre and mood, I love Diana Krall, Led Zepplin, Most OLD R&B. LL Cool J!

Yours/FI or H age? How long have you been together? DH is 52, and I will be 50 next week

: We've been together 6.5 years and met on eHarmony.

Occupations- Yours and FI/H?    I am a CPA, working for a large, publicly traded utility. DH is an IT dude.

Do you have any pets? Nala is our black Lab. Cheddar is our orange kitty boy Diva. Bill is our new kitty boy, who joined the household when our Muenster kitty went missing. He's still adjusting to us, but he's a nice kitty. Sadly, I don't have any pictures on this computer or I would post them.

Wedding Date? 8/1/09

Why did you choose that date/significance? Several reasons. We were both married once before, so I didn't want anything close to those anniversary dates. We have 4 children between us, and needed to plan around college breaks/school schedules. We also wanted a weekend when OOT family could make the trip. Plus, 8+1=9 so I thought DH could remember the date (I was wrong about that part).

Favorite movie: We love Open Range. DH would have been Kevin Costner's character if he lived 140 years ago, and I could see myself as Annette Bening's character. We both laugh at the line where he asks her "How's this gonna work if you don't do what I say?", and it's so much like DH when he proposes too.

Favorite musician: ???

Favorite author?   DH likes Louis L'Amour and westerns like Lonesome Dove. He's also enjoying an Isaac Asimov novel right now. I read almost anything - I really enjoyed the Hunger Games trilogy, the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, trilogy, and anything biographical or sappy romance.

Favorite color?   Purple!

Favorite thing to do together?: We enjoy the outdoors very much. Camping, hiking, bicycling, snowshoeing. We're lucky to have such fantastic outdoor opportunities so close to us.

Yours/FI or H age? How long have you been together? I'm 42, he's 41. Only 10 months younger than me, though. We've been together about 2 1/2 years, 3 in March. He's divorced and has two boys, I've never been married.

Occupations- Yours and FI/H?    I'm a pharmacy tech, he's an HR manager, currently on the job market.

Do you have any pets?   I have a cat, Gracie. Unfortunately she's one reason why FI and I aren't living together yet, one of his boys is violently allergic. Still trying to figure out how to deal with this one.

Wedding Date?   None yet, our original target date was next spring, but due to his job issues and him also needing rotator cuff surgery, we've pushed it back another year. No firm date yet.

Why did you choose that date/significance?   When the time comes we'll take whatever we can get. We aren't picky, lol

Favorite movie:   Dead Poet's Society, Center Stage. Honestly not a huge movie fan.

Favorite musician:    No one specific, just listen to lots of old 70s and 80s stuff.   FI and I saw Kiss and Motley Crue in concert a few months ago, that was awesome.

Yeah, and believe me, he likes to rub that in my face. Calls me 'old woman' when he wants to get under my skin. :P I return it by telling him to stop acting like a baby. It works for us, lol.

And yeah, we asked about v2.0 getting allergy shots, but they said he's so allergic that it wouldn't help as much as we'd need it to. Meaning, he'd be better but still couldn't live with a cat 24/7. FI is really feeling awful about the idea of me giving up my cat and doesn't think it's fair, but at the same time, v2.0 is so allergic that the asthma attack could kill him. Therefore, we're keeping it status quo for now. My cat is super super attached to me and hates most other people, so rehoming her isn't an option.

Occupations- Yours and FI/H? I'm a dance teacher and FI is finishing his last year of school for electrical engineering.

Do you have any pets? None yet because don't live together because of job location, but when we move in together, I'll be getting him a black lab right off the bat

I still have his senior picture. I think he gave it to my mom and I ended up snagging it and kept it ever since.
