  • Hey MuSu - Good to see you.  How long did it take Willow's paws to get better?  Autumn is showing improvement, but I can tell she doesn't want to put much weight on one of her rear paws especially - although it is much better than it was even yesterday and this morning.
  • H likes my hair long, but understands that i like to keep it short.

He says he likes to play with it, but when I remind him that he seldom plays with my hair, he retracts that card and says go for the haircut. :)

[QUOTE]Also, little baby Jesus himself could not convince me to chop my hair short. Just not gonna do it.

<div>Even if he like came to you in a vision or something? What if he promised world peace? </div>

  • I love having my hair short. About shoulder length, with layers. I just ordered hair extensions, so I can play with long hair once in a while.
    image
  • Jess - I'm a little late but why not add it after the shower? When I bought a few things at Target with my gift card, I added a few things that they didn't have when I created my registry to my registry just to get the discount.
  • Aw poor Autumn. Have you tried putting antiobiotic cream and then wrapping it in a bandage overnight? I don't know of she is the type to bite at it or not but that is what we did for willow and I think the bandage helped. She got hurt on a Saturday and was pretty much back to normal by the Tuesday afterward.

  • Wally there would not be world peace if I had short hair. I would get PTSD and cause a riot. Heh.

  • I sprayed her back paws a couple of times with my expired pet antibiotic stuff.  She doesn't really lick at them too much, and I am seeing improvement.  We have an appointment with the vet for them to clean her teeth on Tuesday, so if she's not better by then, I'll mention it to them so they can check them out and make sure they're all clean and stuff while they have her put under for the dental.  It happened on Friday - and like I said, I can definitely see improvement this afternoon in the way she is walking.
  • Oh and for anyone who comes back later and wants to tell me that PTSD is a SERIOUS disease and omg I shouldn't joke about it on the Internet, you can suck it.
    image
  • So, since DD requested none of us wear flippy-floppy type shoes to the ceremony but doesn't care after that, would I be Ok getting some comfy flippies to wear at the dance just in case my fancy shoes are not comfy? Or is that excessive?

My mom had this old VHS tape full of old SNL episodes, and when I started watching SNL, she insisted that I watch the old episodes to really appreciate SNL when it was awesome.

I'm so glad she did that. I love the older episides.

I think one of my very favorites is Consumer Probe with Joan Face, and she does a report on Halloween costumes, and has Irwin Mainway, (Dan Aykroyd) on discussing the dangers of his costumes, including Johnny Human Torch, "which is nothing more than an oily rag and a lighter."

I was going to link a clip, but it's not on the NBC website right now.
  • Thats a good idea, loopy. Hopefully she will be better by then but hey if you're at the vet anyway, it wouldn't hurt for them to check it out. Holly, that sucks. J is workin on a construction project in Chicago so he is going to be there a majority of the redt of the summer thru the end of August with only a few days back here. I know how you feel!

  • Wally - I think it's understandable. My SIL completely changed out of her BM dress during the reception into her regular clothes. That was a little excessive IMO.

Musu - nothing wrong with an obvious joke. What makes me mad is when people claim "PTSD" for some stupid shiiiit.

  • Yeah of course people shouldn't trow the term around lightly as if they have it for something stupid. But it seems people are getting touchy lately about that stuff so that was my disclaimer, haha.

Oh, true. I didn't even think of that, but the shower date isn't even on the registry, just my due date.

Congrats, Poke. You win the gold star today!

Yeah it really sucks but it is so good for his work experience and it is gonna make us better money than he would at his normal job. So it is worth it but it does get hard. I just have to remind myself that once december rolls around, he will be home for good!

<div>Yeah, I know what you mean. I think I saw an article about a bride that had some kind of minor malfunction happen on her wedding day and she claimed PTSD - mainly to try to get some money out of her venue I think. That's what I freaking hate. </div><div>

Funny how much I got done though
  • MuSu that sounds very hard. I hope the time passes quickly. And totes no offense on PTSD. People get WAY too riled up about stuff. Gah.

Oh! Nerdy Girl is texting already. She must be a smidge homesick.

I'd hate to think of how productive I would be without the internet.

But then again, I'd probably just take a nap.
