MORNING

Re: MORNING

• I'm going through some MAJOR tossing/donating right now. It's amazing the crap I've been finding in my room. Girl Talk anyone?
• Spa I would love to give up those couple holidays for that time off at Christmas and New Years!
• I love having the break but morning's like these I silently curse the fact  that I have to get up.

I need to just garage sell the stuff people keep giving me. My mom just gave me 8 of these wine glasses: http://www.tackroominc.com/fusion-horse-wine-glasses-p-5418.html.

o.O not really my style.

The goddamned dryer had a small fire last night.  It was about 20 degrees outside, so we couldn't keep the windows open long. The lint collection system is all sorts of stupid, and even though we clean the lint filter every load and vacuum the trap a few times a week, a big wad of lint somehow got stuck in the back of the dryer, in the same compartment as the heating element.

My house stinks.
• I had the pink Girl Talk phone/clock radio combination. It was awesome.

Even though I HATE pink, I still have this and use it....It will be going bye bye when I move out though.
• Rachers, thanks. I totally should have noticed that. Those glasses are pretty, but I feel like the stem is too thick. I think that would bother me for wine.

I'm sorry about your dryer, Special. :(

• Today is my day to clean my entire house.  It is so cluttered.  H is out of town visiting his parents, so it's a perfect time for me to be able to get rid of things.  My guess is I'll get through one room and spend the rest of the day on the couch watching movies :)

<div>No, there wasn't much damage. H was walking by it and caught it just as it was starting. The lint at the back of the dryer was on fire, but the clothes were not. </div><div>
</div><div>It still works. Well, it works just as well as it did before. This thing is a POS, and we've been having problems since we bought it.</div>
• That's one of my biggest fears, Special.  I'm always so paranoid about leaving the dryer on if I leave the house.

• Idk Rachers maybe a basket? All I found were ways to wrap a wine bottle on google.

I would do a basket and add in some chocolates or maybe cheese and crackers but I do that all the time it is my default basket: wine, cheese, crackers. I am not terribly creative.

• Morning! I'm in history class. This girl to my right is doing needle point. I feel like it's a joke..
• Oh a basket would be cute! How'd the glasses turn out Rachers? I thought about doing a craft like that too but was nervous the stems would turn out drippy.
• Good morning!  Fiance finally got his butt into gear and helped me with some wedding stuff this weekend!  We even went to a travel agent to talk honeymoon. Although they are pushing all inclusive and we just can't decide if we are into that.  Sometimes it feels too commercial and cookie cutter but then sometimes we question if everyone does it because it really is the best thing to do for a honeymoon.

Question for all you that have made cross country moves.. How do you time everything?  Do you go visit a few times first and find an area that you like?  We are renting and I am just not sure how to time ending our lease here and finding jobs there?

• KJB, that picture of Mr. Beefy is HILARIOUS.
• @special - maybe w/ presidents day there are some good sales going on for appliances?

I get this.  Our lease ends at the end of June.  I doubt we would be ready to move by then. Do we just inquire about signing a 3 or 6 month lease knowing that we may have to pay rent at two places?
Speaking of wine glasses, I need some help. I made some chalkboard wine glasses for hostess gifts for an upcoming shower. I'm gifting those and a bottle of wine. What would be a cute way to wrap it? There are two wine glasses and the bottle for each.
Posted by rachers1017
<div>Do you have any boxes that could fit the glasses and bottle, if they were laid down in a bedding of fluff/wrappings/crinkly paper strings used for packing? That was my first thought - otherwise I'd wrap the wine bottle separately from the glasses and find a small box for the glasses, and a wine gift bag for the bottle.</div><div>
</div><div>ETA: that's a rull cute gift</div>

• Thanks Snippy!  There's one of Beefy that has gone viral - they even showed it on Good Morning America on Thursday!  I've got a few other good ones.

• Vegetariana, I know a lot of places around here do month to month leases for an extra fee. I think most places add around $50 a month.
• Thanks! I think I need to email our landlord and see what our options are!

• I would do a month by month lease
