This girl is driving me crazy on the student board. She has BSC written all over her posts. But the really crazy kind, not just the "OMG I want to plan my future-may-never-happen wedding." Her condescending tone is pissing me off too. I wasn't even mean; I just questioned her relationship a little. And oh my did she take a high and mighty tone with me. Want to read the crazy for yourself? Oh and she is 15 and engaged, but for 3 years though so she can finish high school. And the best part? They had been dating for 1 year. *sigh* got to love it!
To read the BSC for yourself.

Re: You know what is annoying? High Schoolers... who are engaged!
A 17 year old dating a 14 year old creeps me the hell out.
I don't think you should be getting engaged if you can't legally even get married yet. I really hope that is MUD.
[QUOTE]... I just... I have no idea what to say. I sat here and read her posts to Tyler and oh how we laughed. As a dedicated watcher of /b/, Tyler says it sounds like a troll and he sincerely hopes that it's one. I, on the other hand, feel like this is real but also sincerely hope it's fake. It's scary.

I know I was just stunned. I was so taken aback by her post. I feel like it is real because the student board doesn't get many trolls (they are a bunch of softies) and she gave really long answerers.

[QUOTE]She sounds like one of those crazy people... The ones that live in a compound and are all married to the same man? Like a cult or some crap...

I'm really concerned that their parents are supposedly supporting this. My parents would have told me I had lost my damn mind if I thought I was going to get engaged when I was 14.
She sounds like the typical teenagers we see on this board - I'm so mature, you don't know us, I don't need life experience, blah blah blah. I doubt it will work out but some people need to make mistakes because they are mature enough to listen to the advice from others who have more experience than them.

There are plenty of great, not crazy girls over there but there are a lot of crazies ones as well who usually get support of their crazy by more than one or two people.
Agreed... She certainly doesn't talk like any fourteen year old I know.

My parents have a disturbingly large age gap when you go back to when they met... My mom was 13 and my dad was 21. They did not start dating then however. Eight years doesn't seem like a big difference now, but it sure looks creepy when you think about when they first met. But it was my mom who chased my dad, he didn't want anything to do with her at first. lol

My parents have an 11 year age difference. When they got married Mom was 24 and Dad was 35. We laugh about it a lot. On my 11th birthday I remember saying "HAHA, DAD, WHEN YOU WERE TURNING 11 MOM WAS JUST BORN!"

I missed this?! Where/when did this happen? I knew I had to check in this weekend but didn't get around to it since I was super busy with house stuff....and Doggy stuff...and family stuff. That's INSANE!
[QUOTE]I didn't have my first boyfriend until 16. I had no romantic feelings about boys until then, honestly. They were all such immature losers.

This. And I think it was good that way. I really hope she doesn't end up regretting this for her whole life.
Plus, the fact her parents seem wary of the idea, and how her FI and his parents are moving to Texas and she is expected to go with and be a homemaker, all in the name of God, just disgusts me. It screams control and brainwashing. Like the guy burned into her skull that they were meant to be together and God would frown on her if she broke free of that path.
