I got a flat tire on Friday afternoon, no big deal, take it to the tire place, right? Wrong. The tire is special order and isn't in today until 3pm. My DH doesn't want me driving to UTA and back home (about 80 mi) on the spare, so class is out today. I have a major paper due today and emailed my professor my paper and documentation of the tire situation on Saturday night. She responded with sorry, I don't accept papers via email, you must be in class. Awesome. Insult to injury? The car has 4000 miles on it and the tire is $145 plus installation.

Why is it so hard to find pants that fit? They are either too big and falling off or way too tight. And why can't sizes be consistent? Its so frustrating!
Yes I had fun too on Saturday! Not too sure about that picture though, I didn't even know we were being photographed! It's Monday, and I slept like crap last night. I just want to be back in bed.
Julie and Amanda and the rest of the teachers on here - I really hope you guys are fine. All of my friends who are teachers have been spared so far. One got notice that all first year teachers were being cut, but then the school had enough teachers volunteer for early retirement that her job was re-instated.
My best friend is in administration for a charter school and she had to tell the entire 9th and 10th grade teams that they were being cut because the school couldn't justify keeping those grades.
The teachng situation just sucks.

I hope y'all are ok too. And if they cut the entire 9th and 10th grade, who is going to teach those grades now??

Since they are a charter school they can adjust their charter to include whatever grades they want. They are now only a Pre-K-8th school. Enforcing truancy for 9th and 10th was becoming a huge deal, so they just cut it out.

FMIL called last night because she wants us to add a flower girl. I'm sorry but why didn't you call 6 months ago? That dress for the 1 flower girl we are having took 3 1/2 months to get (and we are still waiting for it to get here). She suddenly has interest with just 2 months left to go. The whole wedding is planned at this point. We are just finishing up minor details.
I spent my Monday morning at DPS. Last week at the bank, the teller pointed out that my DL expires on Wed - which I had not noticed - and of course I did the online renewal last time, so I had to go in this time... So, I went today (took just under an hour) and I'll be back there in less than 3 months to change my name. Annoying.
Other than that - can't complain too much. It's going to be a busy week, but that also means I'm making money.
I really have nothing, I had a wonderful weekend. I also feel pathetic because I checked Briannas wall this morning to see if any of her guests may have posted a pics.

I think I'm okay for this coming year. However, if they start cutting programs, then I have to worry. Our district is cutting anyone with a probationary contract, so anyone who is new to our district.
I'm sleepy and I my allergies have been terrible since last night. I just got my nose to stop running since 7pm last night. That's after taking claritin and waiting several hours and now I have sinus pressure...ugh. I feel a sinus infection coming on...stupid weather changes, I don't have time to be sick.

My B&M is that it's too cold out! Where is my sun and warmer weather?!
Also, IDK if it is even classified as a B&M or not, but I'm really worried about my dog-the one that stays with my parents, not Rosie. Friday night, my dad took Daisy to the emergency vet because she kept squating down like she had to potty. Nothing would come out. She squats like 15 times in the backyard, and nothing. They said she had a bladder infection, so the vet gave her a shot and some meds. I thought we would see a little improvement, but there is none. The fact she is 10 years old doesn't help the situation either. I just hope she gets better :(
Dang allergies!!! I walked off the plane Saturday morning, and my eyes have been red, watery, or crusty, and my nose is a leaky faucet ever since. Grr...
Sorry to you teachers out there. That has to be nerve racking. I still can't figure out why we need to cut funding for our schoolkids, and not some of these programs that are just handing money & services out to people who are abusing the system.
To add onto the flat tire discussion... when we bought our new car last week, they have a 'hazardous road' package that we opted into. They will replace tires or wheels if anything happens while driving. Flat tire, run over a nail, hit a pothole and crack a rim? they will replace it. Kind of awesome. It was 1/2 the price of a new set of tires, so we figured it was worth it.
Our last sunset in Hawaii...

After months of waiting to get pictures of the custom Veil I ordered from Etsy, it looks HORRIBLE! The construction is terrible and the ribbon and beading aren't anything that I had invisioned. I don't want to be mean, but I don't want it. She can even keep the third down I payed and the comb I sent her. But I'm not sure what to do.

Re: B&M Mondays
We're still slightly worried about the cut possibility. I think I'm gone if they get to the point of cutting programs.
I have been fighting this sinus infection with very strong antibiotics and a nasal spray for a week. I'm still not feeling 100%.
Our dance team was hosed in their competition this weekend. No ifs, ands or buts about it.

Wednesday (the 30th).
I did get a brooch and hair fascinator in the French Quarter for about 1/3 of what I would have paid on etsy.
And, yes, I am also guilty of stalking Brianna's facebook.
I'm not so good with the advice... Can I interest you in a sarcastic comment?
