I think I would put a new couch or fridge. Couch is FI and it was a dumpster find 10 years ago and I am tired of a small fridge. I would love to have one with an ice maker for the hot summers here.

near my family. I am 3 hours away from my parents and I hate being away from them. FI's job was more permanent then mine (he is going into his familys business) so when we got serious I had to make the decision to move away from home and it was so hard. I hate having to split up holidays because I feel like someones parents is going to be upset. Sorry, done rambling

I work with high school athletes and I had one basketball player storm out of my room when I was going over his rehab for his ankle injury and he went and told his coach I didn't know what I was doing and would never come back to me for an injury. He is a little punk, talks back to coaches and teachers all the time and I shouldn't take it personally but I did.

I also feel like FI and I's relationship is an accomplishment. We've been together almost six years. It hasn't always been easy, but we both comment from time to time how lucky we are to have such a great relationship.

    Posted by courtneyclare103[/QUOTE]

I would say the vacation my family took to OBX 4 summers ago. My parents have always been extremly welcome and giving with our friends and my parents rented a big beach house and a bunch of my brothers friends from college came (including FI, we were dating at this point) and had a great week of fun in the sun. It was the summer before most of them had to go to their military training before college started so it was a good week. Most of the guys who came are in the wedding or invited to the wedding.

I love my Jounalism/Advertising classes. My favorite class so far was probably journalism 101. There was advertising and journalism but the teacher was absolutely hilarious and a great teacher. She made me want to go to class and I actually enjoyed taking notes for the class and doing the studyguides. She's won different awards from students for best professor<div>ETA: FI and I live together in an apartment off campus</div>
  • whoa, all running questions, my favorite!!

Daria: I dabbled in barefoot.  Mostly I run on the road, but when I am not racing over the summers I will run 1 mile here and there barefoot, it's a lot slower (2 minutes maybe) per mile usually but it's really good for foot strengthening.  It's too cold now, but we did it occasionally after cross.  Are you thinking of trying it?!

G2+Court I ran track (sprinting lol!) in 8th grade but all our meets were cancelled but one and I thought that was dumb so I quit.  My friend and I were "recruited" by our gym teacher/indoor track coach and from there it took off! I reluctantly tried XC and it made the world of distance.  My father did track in HS WAY back, and my mom ran/biked/swam and could run a 5:20 mile with no training. Neither pushed me into running, but encouraged me.  Mom comes to every meet.  I never did a sport until track, not even 3 year old soccer.
