Hockey, I ended up going to a clinic on Sunday. They said I had an infection and prescribed me antibiotics and steroids. The skin was really hot to the touch and I had a fever. It was awesome. Tongue Out

Holy crap, Birdie. That looks painful. I hope you feel better soon.

Whit - I love the new sig picture!

I'm finishing "Mockingjay" right now. I was going to see HG tonight, but I'm too comfy to move. Maybe tomorrow night. I'm excited to see how similar/different Gale and Peeta are compared to my mental versions of them.
  • Options
It wasn't really painful but was SOOOOOOO itchy. The steroids knocked it out pretty quick. They're mostly just regular bites now, save for my right arm that was the worst.
  • Options
that sucks!  The banana thing was on H's safety test at work one year....i thought it was so bizarre but found a lot of info on it online.
  • Options
That's good to know though. I itch REALLY bad with bug bites. I thought I was going to have to amputate my left leg on our honeymoon after mosquitos when to town on it. The worst was when they bit my feet at night when we were eating in our open air restaurant. Pure agony!

Hi everyone. Sorry to hear you're feeling bad Birdie.

I'm catching up on all the MASH I recorded over Spring Break and trying to think of a good biology research topic. Any ideas?

Ok I'm off for the night to read. Have a good night ladies!

hahaha we have a wedding this weekend....and the drive time between the ceremony and reception is 40-45 minutes....

It will take us 40 minutes to drive to the ceremony, then the 40-45 minutes to the reception and about 30 minutes to drive home.  H was just complaining and said "Isn't that something they shouldn't do to people?"  Which I said, ya it really shouldn't be more than 30 mins between ceremony & reception...to which he told me "I might have to make a cocktail for the drive" hahaha (btw I am the driver)

Evening all, oh the joys of home ownership.  Here is to hoping that the showing tomorrow is finally the one that makes an offer and I am no longer a long distance home owner in a town 3 hours away!

Witsy, very nice on the new sig picture, both of your eyes are sooooo blue!

Hey everyone. I hope you feel better Birdie! That does sound like a good deal for a temporary situation (your living at the aunts house thing). I'm happy you get to move home like you've been wanting to!

I had a doc appt today about my bladder problems. Their analysis of my pee test didn't show anything but they are waiting on a 2 day culture of it too. I just wanna figure out what the eff is wrong with me already.

    Good night, Birdie.  Feel better!

All this talk about pizza. They are ordering pizza for us tomorrow at work, and I actually asked sheepishly if it was ok if I got a salad instead. 11 pounds 'til goal!

I have no willpower. I'm gonna eat that pizza, I know it. Like, seriously, if there is something I want to eat in a room, it's ALL I can think about. I will take someone out for the last (whatever) on the plate.

Wriggly/Burn Which team are you on Gale or Peta?

Blah my day was annoying, I had so many things to do and I had to blow some off tho do the others (time slot thing) so the one I went to do I couldn't do and no one told me that so I didn't do anything even though I tried. That's really vague. I skipped a project meeting/practice to get hours tutoring for me EDU class and they were doing MCAS, again. Way to not tell me that :/

Team Peeta!  Always have been, even after only reading book 1.

Yep! The recent posts about Roatan inspired me to post a pic from there. I'll probably get tired of looking at myself in a week though. Here's one with me and a monkey. Exotic animals cause me to make funny faces apparently.

I'm Team Neither. If i based it off of looks from the movie, I'd totally be Team Gale. But I actually kind of despised both guys in the books.

OOT I have to ask, how do you have 23 hair brushes and no All Clad? Not a judgment or anything but damn girl, get on that!

Team Peeta, all the way. I don't dislike Gale.

The hotel was called something like "Fantasy Island", it was the only decent hotel on the island at the time.  This was when M was 16 or so and there was not even a real airport.  You had to fly puddle jumpers from San Pedro Sula.  3 or 4 I think

You will NEVER catch me on a cruise.  Sailing yes, cruise nope

I waffle. :) Katniss is so adamant about not getting married and all that jazz that I sort of don't root for either guy. But then she hunts with Gale and seems so happy, so I think Gale is good for her. Then she's with Peeta and feels all homey and safe, and I think, "A<a rel="nofollow" href="http://www...">www...</a> him..."<div>
</div><div>It's a really hard decision, but then I remember it's moot because she doesn't really "want" either one. ;)</div><div>
</div><div>Personally, if it came right down to it, I'm a Peeta fan, especially after reading most of "Mockingjay" and getting to know Gale better. I would probably date Peeta, whereas Gale seems more like that dude friend who drinks with me on weekends.</div>

I used to have to go to London frequently for work and would pick one up at Boots, just incase I lost one.  The pound was cheap so I'll probably never lack hairbrushes or cashmere sweaters.

    No AllClad, just pity me.

ooooooh!  Perhaps I should get married again and register for it, that would be okay, right?

<div>Just register for cash, so you can buy it yourself.</div><div>
</div><div>It's not even *that* expensive though. We picked up a few pieces when it was on super sale.</div>
