H is working (surprise! shock!) on NYE from 4 - 12, so I'm having a NYE party at our place. H says when he gets in after midnight, he'll "catch up." I have a feeling that means drink one beer and pass out, but oh well
Also shocking: H saw the trailer for The Hunger Games, loved it, and now wants to read the book! He never reads. I handed over my Kindle this morning so he can read it during his down time at work. I hope he likes it. I don't know how he couldn't.

I really don't think so. The apartments are very close to us and I have seen her wandering everywhere. Also she made it to my parents house which is about a quarter of a mile from our house. She also appears to be living in the dumpster. I called the apartments and no one picked up. I will try back in a bit.
I'm not sure what we are doing for NYE. FI wants to go bowling but I really prefer just hanging out at home or friends' houses and being chill. Last year we dressed up and went out and then I fell asleep early.

I liked boy cats better until we got Tyra. She will stretch up my leg, grab my waist, and ask to be picked up. I hold her on my shoulder and she purrs so loud it's crazy! She is such a love for a female calico! And she talks to me, and plays fetch, and watches tv.
If I got a my own horse from a foaling I don't know what I would name it. Artax is a great one!
A movie on NYE day might be nice, there are a bunch out that I haven't seen. Then a local party after. Hmmmm

I saw the Descendants and was not blown away, even though it's getting great reviews. Just kinda "meh." I loved the original The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and I believe so far the American version is getting lackluster reviews, but I am still interested in seeing it, so I vote for that.
We are doing NYE in Toronto. FI has been working a shiit ton of 16 hours shifts and now need to burn vacation. Bummer for me I know. I usually have trouble staying up until midnight so this could be a problem.
Habs, we got really good advice for the trip from the "Local Toronto" board. They were extremely helpful. We are going to try some of the restaurants they suggested in Kingston and Toronto. Thanks for pointing me that direction.

Traffic was so light this morning, except for this one person who tried to come down a one way street the wrong way...that was exciting, I hope they made it to a street they could turn on before they had a wreck or anything.

Yes. She was pissed she was mod and not someone in their little group. She kept PMing her, then she'd call her out in a million *DJ* threads asking questions that were NONE of her business and freaking out if she didn't get the answers. Then her little PS clique started awful trolls and kept coming back after being banned to harass DJ. She has a side of biitch to her, that's for sure.
