  • I want to get one of those grass things for my dog.  some days we're gone all day and she's not too keen on holding it.

  • Salt- you should try and do a vehicle registry.  People can buy you tires, steering wheel, accessories, upgrades, etc.  Total genius idea!

aMrs- do you have a kitchen that you could put a baby gate up and keep him in it?  Then you could train him to use the puppy pads and gate him in the kitchen with his bed and/or crate in their with him and some puppy pads.  That way if he makes a mess it's easy to clean.

They are perfect for boaters.  You just ake the grass thing with you and the dog know exactly where to go.  Then you just rinse it off.  I know sailors that have been using astro turf squares on the wim platform for years.

  • And yeah I think that will be a photoshop job for tomorrow if I'm having a slow day. The holidays are always such a yawn at my office.

  • Oh very cute Salt.  Those aren't my style only because I'm never dressed up enough to wear a fancy headband.  And I don't do my hair enough.  But I love when ladies have really cute hair cuts and put super cute headbands and hair accessories in.  I'm jealous.

  • That's cute Salt!
  • So cute Salt!
aMrs - now I want another puppy.

  • Spanks! I LOVE flowery headbands so much that I learned how to make fabric flowers so I can make new ones for myself whenever I need to match an outfit.

  • Not the kitchen, but our master ensuite.  It is huge and tiled in slate.  If need be, it can just be hosed right out the door to the back vernada ;-)

It opens to our bedroom so he wouldn't be in social isolation at night, and then I can hear him if he needs to go out.

  • I don't usually put anything in my hair except a ponytail holder.  Although now that I had it cut in shorter layers in front and it won't go into a single ponytail.  I haven't tried pigtails yet though.
  • The end of the year SUCKS where I work.  Everyone wants to get their surgery in before the end of the year, so all the surgeons cut their operating times in half, and our management lets them.  So then us peons are stuck there til whenever the finish.

  • The play is over! Thank God! I feel like a whole lot of stress has just been lifted off of my shoulders. The kids did really well and we didn't have any meltdowns of our special needs children.

H and I went out with my co-teacher for a few drinks. Now it is time for a hot shower and bed. I am off tomorrow - yay! But I have a lot of house work to get done.
  • I have to wear a hairnet thing at work, but I wish I knew how to do my hair, or my makeup for that matter.  I think I'm missing a gene.
Speaking of - I need a new haircut - what should I do?

  • YAY!  Glad it went well Missy.  Have a good night!
  • Seriously, I just saw a commercial for the food bank.  It showed a couple in the car with a kid in the backseat playing like DS or something, and the H says "can you believe it was just last year that we were here once a week.  We never would have made it through the holidays if it weren't for the support and help of the food bank."  Then it shows them getting donations out of the back of their Acura SUV.  How the hell do people go from food bank one year to Acura SUV the next?

  • I have one of those grass things for my dog.  She likes to sit on it and to stand on it to look over the patio fence better.  I'm not sure if she uses it for business (it autocleans, so it's hard to tell), although she doesn't seem as desperate to pee when I come home, so I hope she does.

I'm having the same problem, but reversed. My hair was super long until October when I cut off like 11 inches for donation. It's angled from the back forward, so when I try to put it in a ponytail it looks ridiculous.

  • I wish I knew more about makeup too.  I wear the basics on a day to day basis, but when I get dressed up to go out or something, I still wear just the basics cause I don't know what else to do.
  • That's great that it's finally over Missy.

How long is your hair now?

  • I haven't had a haircut since at least June, and that was just a trim.  I'm hoping to get my aunt to cut it for me when I'm home.  I haven't found anyone here yet.  No matter what  I do though it always ends up looking the same.

I just wear the basics for makeup too.  I wear Bare Minerals, and for eyes I just do mascara and eyeliner.  Usually anymore though I don't even put any on, and if I do it's blush and some bronzer.  Haha I'm usually so lazy that I don't even pull the makeup out and just use whats on the brush.  The only difference between my everyday makeup and my "night out" makeup is that I'll put it on a little heavier maybe, and put eyeshadow on and some lip gloss.  My everyday lip color is chap stick.

  • Locks of Love does. That's the route I had to go because I've been coloring my hair for most of my life. :) It's a 10" minimum from the base of the ponytail holder.

  • I think I want to chop my hair again.  And chop for me means to my chin at the shortest.
    imageBabyFruit Ticker
  • Oh I think I could easily do 10 ".  I have probably 60-70% gray, so I wasn't sure if they would take it.  I just don't know what to do with it... I suppose I should just go in, I'm sure my girl won't make me look like a mushroom.
