I flame the people at my work that park their SUVs and trucks in compact parking and then throw a huge fit when they have a door ding.  You are not compact and you don't fit in the spot.  There aren't enough spaces for you to take up 2 so either park in non-compact or stop b!tchin!  I saw a lady screaming at some older lady yesterday because her car had a mark on it and swore it was this lady.  Chill out!!!

    I will say this:

A job and a career are not the same.  Sometimes you have to get a job, in order to get where you need to be.  That's called life.

This!  This is what I have been telling my sister who is looking for a job.  My job is not what I want my career to be but they are paying for me to finish school and then start my career.

I got a job, it turned into a career, which I never wanted it to do. I left, got a job so I can go to school full time and then start my career.

There's nothing wrong with that at all.  You are actually attending school, not just in limbo.

I agree 100% with you Brianna.

I may get flamed for this myself but I flame some of my guests who RSVP'd yes and then have now texted or emailed me to tell me that gas prices are too high and they cant afford to come.  I get it but at the same time only 2 people from NE are coming I will have less than 15 people I know at the wedding.  It just makes me a little sad.

Bobbileigh - I'm so sorry. I kind of know how you feel as we had about 95 guests and only about 25-30 of them were from my side.   :(

When you order something, get a receipt.   When you sign something, get a copy.    When you agree on something, get it in writing.

I flame the girl who came on to complain about Capella Court. I mean, yeah it's crappy that they didn't give her the best customer service. But seriously, it's a business that she has no investment in and that she's had one experience with. I don't think it's necessary to go and warn everyone away from a business everytime someone is somewhat rude to me. And I don't understand her comment about the venue only wanting her money--wouldn't they have treated her better then in order to get her deposit?

I feel so bad for all the people affected by the earthquake and the tsunamis.  However, I am also now very glad that I didn't plan to go to Hawaii or the West Coast for Spring Break.

Also, I'm throwing a local business about $35000 worth of business but they're still going to charge us $16 a car for valet.  These are kids.  Come on.

It seems like Hawaii is ok, from what I've seen on the news so far. <div>
</div><div>And I'm guilty of the not getting things in writing, too! My caterer didn't even have a contract, which almost bit me in the butt when she went MIA about 2 weeks before the wedding and I thought I'd have to find a new caterer.</div>

I flame mothers who don't call their sons after they have their wisdom teeth out. I don't care if you two got in a stupid fight, you should still call to check on your son after surgery. Sure, it's a routine thing, but he went under anesthesia which can easliy cause complicatons.

On the other hand, I'm proud to have been the bigger person to call her and let her know he's OK - even if it was just via voicemail since you wouldn't answer your phone.

Thanks ladies! It would have been a really great position, so I allowed myself to feel bad last night (I had loaded cheese fries and a few drinks), but now I'm moving on. And, there's a very good chance that they may have a temporary position (It's a guy who's on military leave and it could become permanent in the future) for me, so all is not lost just yet. I'll know about that one in another couple weeks.

[QUOTE]There are certain things you announce over the intercom and there are certain things that should be for teachers' ears/eyes only. For example, it is probably bad practice to announce that all teachers need to be in the hallways today -- year I know it's our job, but let's not let all 2200 kids know that the administration is on edge. Or how about not announcing that a bus was late, giving all the perpetually tardy kids a free excuse? <strong>Also, who the eff throws a trash can in a fight?

My boss is in Maui and his wife said on FB nothing much is even happening there.

Bobbileigh, I'm sorry.  We got alot of last minute no-shows too and I was very sad.

If you're having a wedding for 200 people, my advice is to get a venue that will actually HOLD 200 people and not go back and wonder what the heck you are going to do after the fact.
