I've never dyed my hair. I think the only reason I would is if I get grey hair earlier than I'm ready for. Just not my thing.

Dumdum, I cut my hair chin length in high school - because I straightened it a lot it really thinned out, so I chopped it off so it could grow in evenly. My curly frizzy mess, omfg. I looked like a brunette Carrot Top.

I used to dye my hair just for fun but now I actually have to pay someone to do it on the regular out of necessity. Not only did I start to get grey hairs, but they are all in my freaking bangs so there is no other way to hide them.

Roots are why I'm scared to dye my hair. I've done highlights once, but I know there's no way I'd go to my stylist often enough and I'd end up with like 2 inches of roots. That's why I'm going to do the dip dye thing. No roots, and if I hate it I can just chop it off.

Unrelated question. I'm considering making THESE that have been floating around Pinterest for a party on Wednesday. Do you think they would hold up if they have to be outside in 100 degree heat for an hour or two? Or, are they going to just disintegrate into a gooey, slimy mess?

Afternoon. I'm working from home because I feel like garbage. I think it was the lasagna I ate last night. It was stored in the freezer, but I forgot that we lost power a couple times since storing it, so it probably went bad and I didn't realize it. Ugh.

I'm super lazy with my hair. I really need a trim, which is about as adventurous as I get, along with some layering maybe. I recently found this thing called the Versa-Band that you can wear like 8 different ways and it's made me even lazier with my hair. I love that thing, even if I do look like a maid or biker chick in it with a couple of the styles.

No lie...it takes around 2.5-3 hours every single time we go, because we're all so busy getting lit. Typically we try to have the H's drop us off (they go to Taco Mac), so none of us have to drive. Then we all go to the Dean & Deluca Wine bar right around the corner from it.

I dyed my hair at home just to cover the gray for a while, then I had a fiasco that involved me dying part of one of the cats.

I decided the gray wasn't that bad.

I love dying my hair black, or close to it. My hair used to be darker and it keeps getting lighter, which pisses me off.

I'm really bad at at-home dye jobs though. It gets everywhere.
