We get to pick her up after finals, so prob the week of May 14th. We didn't want to have to deal with a new pup during finals, so the breeders are keeping the pup for us until then. It will be a girl, we get 2nd pick of the females. We are gonna go and pick out the one we want in a few weeks though, and they will keep her until we are ready. It is a chesapeake, so J is really excited to have another one like he had growing up!

Hi all! I've only posted in like 2 night threads before, but thought I'd join in.

I got back from a 6 day trip to Florida yesterday, and I'm not at all back in school mode yet. I've been sluggish and lazy all day, so I'm compromising with myself and doing some reading/research from the comforts of my bed.

No clue on the chilled wine issue - my dad is a bit of an oenophile and collects a lot of wines, has the huge wine cellar, the whole nine yards, but I for some reason have no interest in wine.

J is so funny. He was so excited when I told him that we finally found a breeder and got a reserved pup, he was like "I'm gonna have a beer to celebrate my new baby!" hahah.

That actually helped encourage me. I don't mind the cold. Today, although it was windy which is annoying, it was actually the perfect temperature for me to run, about 60 degrees. The last couple of weeks have been to warm for my taste. Summertime running is pure torture (though I managed to keep it going last summer, even during the heat wave).

Aw, that is so funny! I was like that when we got my dog - I had wanted a Papillon since I was a little girl, so finally getting one was like a huge milestone in my life lol.

We don't have a name picked out yet... we looked a lot for ideas for Tory's name before we got her. Tory was a name I really liked but J was unsure. Then we got to meet her and we were like "She is definitely a Tory" ... I think that will be the same this time. We might get a few names we like as ideas and then when we go pick her out, we will see what fits best

Musu - too cute!

I have a 13 year old shih tzu who I think is on borrowed time. He's had 2 strokes since December and has some dementia and is really hard of hearing as a result.

I was looking for a place for FI and I for after we are married and I am making sure wherever we go is pet friendly so we can get a pup sometime!

So I read that as colonoscopy at first and I realize how it could hurt so much. I started to share TMI about my own experiences with that and then realized I misread.

Eegh I'm sorry to hear that sparent. I had one of those a few years ago and it suucked. It was also right after a moped accident when bending my knee was next to impossible. T&Ps your awy for clear results!
