Cool. Is that where the Leisel comes from? (I love SofM just as much as WofOz)

Our other cat is Emmie, which is short for Emerald. As in Emerald City. We are geeks. LOL

Yes, ma'am. Leisel is my cat. Though the actual Von Trapp girl spelled is Liesl, I believe.

The cats we named were named after Final Fantasy characters - Cloud and Barret. My horses are Starbucks - she was named Star and she bucked badly when I got her 12 years ago. And, Runner, he's had that name for all the years I've known him, he's always been a big, fast horse.

My roommate/good friend had 5 cats that we took in when she passed -

Viscount Ashley of Leftfield aka Lord Ashley or Ash - He had his own website for a while
Pawkie
Tiny Tim
Leo the Lionheart - was a long haired ginger tabby, he's now sporting a marine buzz cut
Stumpy - he has no tail

Tim and Ash are my cats, Pawkie and Cloud are DHs, the rest are social with anyone. The 'children' are a lot of company. Pawkie is on the table where I'm working, Cloud is beside the chair, Ash is in the floor beside me, Stumpy is on the coffee table behind me, Tim is on her blanket on the couch, Leo is in my recliner, and Barret is on my foot asleep.

I miss my friend so much lately.

I so love Sound of Music. Leisel/Liesl was my fave! I always thought it'd be fun to play her in the musical version! 'Edelweiss' is my dad's favorite song ever and my mom and I used to play (duets) the music from the show on the piano. That piano book is one of my most treasured possessions!

I should hit the hay. Younger DD has a photo shoot out in the woods tomorrow and it's gonna be hotter than hot. I need to be well-rested to keep her from getting owly!

Hello everyone! I went to dinner with Mari tonight, then when I got home H was still awake. He only JUST went to sleep. He's obviously having a hard time readjusting to English time.
