I can't remember what her name was, but this chick on WP was having a hissy fit because she was deciding between 2 pairs of shoes for her wedding, and she had told her BMs they could get whatever shoes they wanted ... and it turned out her sister (I think the MOH?) wounding up unwittingly picking 1 of the pairs the bride was looking at, and so the bride thought that her sister was like the world's biggest bitch ever for liking the same pair of shoes.

I, as well as the other regs, told her that this was hardly a "problem" and she needed to grow up. For some reason, she decided to single me out and went off on me and essentially declared me the biggest bitch on The Knot.

You're right. I went back and looked at the thread you didn't say downsie you said all of you (other posters in their 30s) having a bunch of "downs" babies together. Still offensive to anyone related to or someone who has had a baby with downs syndrome. This is an internet messaging board. People are going to comment on anything you bring up to talk about. Your fertility in terms of scientific proof isn't off the table. I offered proof for my decisions and why I felt certain things about having children in my late 30s. I still will never understand how people get offended by scientific data that is backed up with reputable sources.

P2 said I had no backbone. I know some other posters like Alix have their expressed dislike for me. I'm a fairly sensitive person, but no one has personally attacked me, so it's nothing that's scared me away.

One of the first threads I participated in was when MrsE was being crazy towards a girl from Palestine. She said some mean stuff, but I don't take hateful comments from crazies too seriously.
