Nates - sorry about the post and ghost. We've never done Times Square. One of my close friends did it last year and while he said it was cool, he also said never again. You're crammed in like sardines for HOURS, and every disappears within 15 minutes after the ball dropping. It seems cool, but I'd rather be able to go to a hotel and see it that way.

Actually most of today is going to consumed by cleaning, mil, niece, sil, bil and bil's mom will be here tomorrow at noon and we have a ton to do tonight/tomorrow. It should be a fun time.

Hey all.

We have plans for a cool NYE party at one of our local bars, we have tickets and all that - entertainment, drinks, etc. We're supposed to go with my SIL and BIL and some of their friends, and we have dinner reservations before, too. But the second half of a massive ass blizzard is coming so I am predicting that we will be holed up at home.

Tomorrow my married sister is supposed to be in a wedding - that poor bride

I don't think anyone will be there.

No crazy plans for us. I'm having a small get-together of 5 or 6 people but that's about it. I'm still being lazy in bed but I have to get up and clean, plus buy some finger foods and champagne for later. I wish I could lay here for 4 more hours!

We're going out to dinner with FS&BIL and their 2 kids. Since they're bringing the kids (for some reason they thought they could get a sitter last second. HA), we're eating early. Which actually works out great because we can get home early enough to watch a movie before bed.

We've never really done anything (besides dinner maybe) for NYE. I don't think we've ever even stayed up 'til midnight for it.

We have dinner reservations at 6 at Ruth's Chris, then we will scoot back home, change into our jamiies and play games in front of the fireplace. We have done this for the last three years and I love it. I hate going out NYE - it is freaking cold, the roads are dangerous, and it is amateur hour at the bar. I like being home and cozy. Usually we throw back a few bottles of wine, but none for me this year.

We will be watching Anderson Cooper and Kathy Griffin. They are freaking hilarious together.

Hey ladies!

Everyone's plans sound fun!
I'm cleaning house, sorta right now..H gets off work in a couple hours and we are going to Best Buy to buy a couple Kinect games. We bought an Xbox kinect last night and we are pretty excited to try it out.

He is taking me to a hibachi restaurant for my birthday tonight (YUM!).. we may go to a friend's house to shoot the cannon tonight, or we may just stay home and pop a bottle of champagne.

Okay, off to fold some laundry and wash dishes.
