  My BF and I have been LD for the past seven months. We've been together just under a year. Its been a little frustrating and lonely, but its worked for us. We knew it would be hard, but that we'd be together again in the end. We were talking about marriage pretty quickly into our relationship and that hasn't changed any.

  I've been in a long distance relationship for three years. It is not easy. You have to have complete trust and faith in each other and really be willing to spend a lot of time apart for a little time together.
  
  BF and I have had our fair share of issues, big and small, and a few times things were bad, but when you find the right person distance is just a minor inconvenience. BF is now moving here in six months, graduated with his college degree, and we can't wait to start our lives together. We've gotten through all of this becaue of our love for each other, and we have lots and lots of date nights via skype and/or phone. Keep things interesting and fun and it will be easier.
  
  It sounds to me like you may have a few other issues that really need to be resolved and a lot of the ladies have given sound advice. Listen to them.
