[QUOTE]GA, me too with the cowlick thing!  My part goes straight down one side of my head and then takes an odd left turn when it hits the back of my head.  And it's much more noticable when my hair is greasy.

Me too!! I always had to be careful when I put my hair up, or my crazy back part would stick out and it looked like some sort of scar where hair can't grow.
  • LTB I blow dry in sections.  I usually start with the bottom half of my hair and pile the wet stuff on top of my head.  I am terrible at reaching the back so I tend to pull the hair towards the side with a round brush and blast it with heat.

  • I try to wash my hair every other day, but I'll wash my hair if I work out that day no matter what.  So sometimes (when I'm doing good), I work out every day, so I wash my hair everyday.  When I'm not doing so good (working out every other day or less) I'll wash it every other day.

My hair is really long so it's a pain to straighten all the time (I wear a lot of ponytails because I'm lazy).  It's also pretty fine, so I can't go more than every other day before it starts looking really greasy.  My sister on the other hand has A LOT of hair and it's very course, so she'll usually go a week between washes otherwise her hair gets too dried out.
    Anniversary
  • I do mine in sections too. I split it into three tiers, like top, middle and bottom. I dry the bottom first and I just part it in the middle and pull it to the sides so I can be sure I'm getting the right spot.

  • I blowdry with my blower straight up over my head pointed down.  I don't even use a mirror to blow dry any of my hair.  I will sometimes flip my head upside down for a bit.  I just move the blower around a lot so it gets all the hair.

I do this cause a) you get less flyaways and frizz.  and b) one of my instructors in hair school told me that if your arms don't get sore and you can't see your armpit in the mirrow when you're blowdrying then you're doing it wrong.

Me too =) But I do try to put some sort of "please dont make my head lay straight up against my head today" product in it. currently I"m switching between Bed Head's "Small Talk" and Big Sexy Hair thickening spray...neither work as well as I'd hoped.
  • I'm doing alright. Been very uncomfortable since last week. Hopefully I don't have to wait much longer. If I don't go into labor on my own I won't be induced until the 30th.

this is me too.  I also have yet to find a volumizing product I like.  Not so bad when I wash my hair every day b/c I have some natural volume/curl to it, but today it looks like my hair is velcroed to my head...
  • I wash my hair twice a week if I blow dry it after I wash it and 3 times a week if I let it air dry.  Air drying my hair just makes it more limp looking much faster.  Didn't you guys read Veronbrits blog?  You have to train your hair to not need washing everyday.  LOL.  Ok kidding, I don't know if that's true, but she said that once.
  • I don't blow dry my hair ever. I hate it. I let all my hair dry naturally, with the exception of my bangs which to cooperate I have to flat iron.

  • I start upside down and get the front really well, or else my part looks greasy, then I blow dry the back while I'm upside down. Then I flip and do like Mandy and blow straight down everywhere with my round brush. Then I totally waste all that effort by shooting the blowdryer up the back of my head to make sure the underside is dry, because it's thick back there.

It sounds crazy, but it works. If I'm really trying to do my hair for something, I do it in sections.
  • My mom has one of those...I have no idea what it is...but I've seen it. I've even attempted to use it before. Negative, ghostwriter.

I totally had one of these in elementary school. You used it when you needed to look fancy.
  • I actually just got my hair cut yesterday so it's short again. I wash it every other day, but it has to be styled daily. No pony tails for this girl (not long enough). I have thick hair and a lot of it.

I do not wash my hair after working out because I work out at night, but prefer to shower in the morning. Every other day works for me.

It takes no time at all to dry my hair. I use Paul Mitchell's Super Skinny Serum and love it for helping to keep down any frizzies and helping to straighten it.

That is FOREVER from now!!! I'd be doing everything I could to induce on my own.
  • I also am in the wash every other day crowd. Sometimes I go 2.5 days depending when I have dance class, and then I'll wash my hair at night after class. If things are looking a little greasy, I'll just add some hairspray.

I do this out of laziness more than anything else. My hair is waist length, and I hate blowdrying it. The less I have to wash it, the better.
  • I'm sad this isn't about pubes.

    I wash every 3-4 days.  I'm gross.

I also hate blowdrying my hair.  I feel like I'm damaging it, plus I'm impatient.  Most days I just shoot my bangs with the dryer for a few mins then straighten and go.  On the weekends I have the luxury of air drying and then straightening if I'm going out, but it takes too long before work.  I like to hop out of bed and be out the door 20 mins later
