    We've narrowed it down to "I'd Have You Anytime" by George Harrison, or "In My Life" by Johnny Cash.

    We're dancing to Mazzy Star's "Fade Into You". Totally 90s, and somewhat obscure. I think it fits us perfectly.

    We havent really decided on our first dance song yet, but one of my favorites is "Glitter in the air" by  Pink.  It's amazing

    We are doing "Love Story" by Taylor Swift because thats the first song we ever danced too. Although I really like Tim McGraws "My Best Friend"

    As much as I DONT like Miey Cyrus... I totally love her song "When I look At You" from the movie "The Last Song". The song is new enough that it hasnt been played out at other weddings :)

    Another fave of mine is "Never Think" by Rob Pattinson. It's not the most appropriate but it's just a beautiful song.

    And finally, if you're wanting a more fun & upbeat song: "You Are The Best Thing" by Ray     LaMontagne. His voice is amazing!

    We are dancing to "Almost Paradise" by Mike Reno and Ann Wilson.  Until I heard the words to that song I didn't know what song to pick.  But this one, definitely suites us.

    Our ideas are pretty broad as of this moment, but here's what we've got for options.

    green eyes - cold play
    you and me - dave mathews (i'm leaning towards this one)
    just breathe - pearl jam
    wonderwall - ryan adams
    oh- dave mathews

    OR we've also looked at a few songs without words, piano and guitar solos (i'm a pianist, he's a guitarist)

    We're bucking a lot of traditions and not doing an" official" first dance (we're more about the private moments). We're getting married in Cabo San Lucas in a small, casual ceremeony and will have a cocktail cruise and dinner afterwards.

    I do plan to surprise him and ask him to dance to "Everything" by Mary J. Blige. It perfectly sums up what a fantastic man he is and how lucky I am to have found him.

    We're torn between Joshua Radin's TODAY and Ray Lamontagne's YOU ARE THE BEST THING.  You all posted some great suggestions.  I've added a lot of them to my cocktail hour music!!!  Thanks :-)

    my FI and I are stuck on a few as well...such a shocker!

    I have always loved 
    1.Righteous Brothers - Unchained Melody

    2. A Bryan Adams or Michael Buble (those are "our" artists who mean something)

    3.  Another really fantastic and romantic song is Shania Twain - you've got a way

    Very tough decision now that everyone has added so many other suggestions!

    "You and Me" is our recessional song!  The day I bought the new DMB album and heard it, I knew that I was going to use it in our wedding somehow!  Since my fiance isn't as big into music as I am, most of our music is from my collection (lots of alt-country and classic rock).

    Neither of us are big country song fans - but we are using " I Believe in Love" by Don Williams.  Just fits us so well as we have been living together for 6.5 years and are just now getting married.

    Our song is going to be "Somewhere out there" by Linda Rondstad. We chose this because we were in a long distance relationship for 5 years.

    But another good one is "The book of Love" I cant remember who sings it, but it is from the movie soundtrack "Shall we Dance" with Richard Geere. Great lyrics!

    The Camera Obscura suggestion is a good one, too! I love the idea of singing a song for your FI. We're doing that too! We've given ourselves an overly ambitious task of composing a song to perform. I'm nervous!
