NWR: Whose been here the longest?

Just wondering who has been here with us the longest. I know we have lost a couple brides a long the way but can't help be glad of the friendships and relationships that have been made thanks to TK.

I got joined after I got engaged in September of 2010.

I joined in Aprilish of 2010 but I don't think I can around to the boards until about a year after that maybe, I don't remember!

I joined TK in August of 2010, knowing we would be getting engaged soon. I didn't start posting on the forums until after we got engaged in November of 2010. I've been on our board since then...even before we had a mod!

I joined The Knot in 2000 under a different user name (I was a bridesmaid, helping a friend..didn't really use the boards). I started coming here in July of 2010. I found this specific board in the winter...maybe December 2010 or January 2011.

I joined in July of 2010 when I was looking for information/recommendations regarding my venue. I stayed on my local board until we had actually booked our venue, which was in February of 2011 - almost a year ago

I didn't want to start posting here and then find out I had to move because our date wasn't available!

Has anyone gone back to look at some of the very first posts on the board? It's really interesting - I don't think ANYONE who posted back then is still around!

I joined in August of 2011, got engaged in January of 2011. We didn't start to get serious until August/September in terms of planning.

I found the June board only a few months ago and am so glad I did you girls are great!

Ha...yup by the time we get married we'll be engaged for 27 months and 1 week. Way too long in retrospect but it's given us a good amount of time to get everything together in life and be able to save up the money we needed while not stretching ourselves to thin with everything else.

ETA: Apparently I can't remember all the details of our engagement since it's been so long. I didn't come to this board until February of last year when we decided to change the wedding from December 2011 to June 2012 (for purely design reasons - I could not get excited about a winter wedding).

</div><div>@ncd, we are having about a 20 month engagement. We had to work around me not being able to take PTO during the school year and my brothers deployment. It also helped financially too</div>

I joined the TK in December 2010, we got engaged on December 12,2010. I started posting on the May board the same day i joined the TK but moved our wedding to June in late October...and being posting here since.

I joined early on when I was a MOH for my friends wedding. I just kept the account for some reason since I was just helping her search for stuff. I never went on the boards. I picked back up on TK (again, no boards) when I was in the military and thought about getting married sooner but I got injured and left so we didn't have to think about getting married before I was deployed. I then finally picked it back up again in October 2010 when we got engaged and I then finally ventured onto the boards. I think I stuck around my local board and the DIY board for a while before I came to this one.

<div>It was because every time I would picture our wedding, I would have to stop and readjust where my head was and change gears towards a winter wedding. One day I got upset when FI and I were talking about the wedding and I was a bit dramatic and told him that we got engaged at a bad time because now we couldn't have a spring/summer wedding. FI was like you're being ridiculous, why can't we change our date? So we did! He went about and called all of the vendors we had currently booked and took care of everything!</div><div>

I joined Feb 2010 when my FI started asking me what style of ring I wanted. I hung out on the not engaged yet board till he proposed Feb 2011. Once we figured out where we were getting married and set a date (around May 2011) then I started visiting this board.
