They ask for a date of travel on the application so we put in August 22nd - and if we get the visa relatively quickly we will probably keep that date. I'm sure this was supposed to be a <3 , but my brain didn't figure this out at first and the only thing I could make of it was a hastily cut carrot falling into some cleavage. I carrotcleavage edible favors, too.

We are also doing the M&Ms as our favors. We don't have a good reason, we just wanted something edible and it was the only favorish food item we could think of that would come in black & white.

Now that I think about it, oreos probably would've been more fun. Dammit.

I've never been to England but it's pretty high on my list of the gazillion European countries I didn't get to go to when I was in Europe but would like to find a way to someday. I wish I would have traveled a little more when I was over there.

Poke, watch out. The last time I was in England, I surprised my friend in Oxford by showing up one afternoon and forcing him to take me out drinking all day long and drinking all the booze in his flat after the pubs closed. (He only forgave me after he came home the next day and discovered that I cleaned the whole place up after I woke up that morning.) Poor Basil.

Lizzy - I have no words to express how hilarious that is to me.

Angel - DOOO IT! We'll have to GTG at some point. Apparently my ILs want to take a trip through a lot of the northern states, I'm sure I can squeeze PA in there.

Snail - I have a couch. Travelling is cheaper when you don' thave to pay for accomodation. Hopefully it won't be too long before we are able to get a house, with a guest bedroom.
