Good morning everyone! I see I'm not the only one who slept like crap. Mr P's been on the road this week (insert grumbling about how HE gets to go to Vegas and I don't) which always makes me sleep lighter. There were lots of house settling noises that made me paranoid last night and it was hard to sleep. Then when I did sleep I kept having bad dreams, like driving on the wrong side of the road at night with my headlights off. Urgh. I know it's only 5:30 in the morning in Vegas but I still texted him to send me a hello when he wakes up so I know he's ok, because some of the bad dreams were about something bad happening to him. :-(

I was shocked to learn that my natural color is a light light brown/dark blonde. It only took 4 min to bring my roots up to this color,which is insane! I just don't know if it was me or what. They were shocked that it got so light. I don't think anyone was expecting my hair to lift that well and end up this light. It's not really the color I chose, but close. I still want it light, but I think I really need to stay in the brown family.

So I have to admit something: I watch Secret Life of the American Teenager. (Yes, I know, I know). Anyhow. I DVR it and watch it in like 10 minute spurts b/c if I hear Trevor coming I always turn it off really quickly because I'm too shamed to admit my addiction.

Anyhow. I just want to say that I'm sooooo annoyed at the show right now. First of all. They've made Ben and Adrienne's little love story a bit too perfect. THAT IS NOT REAL LIFE and what message are you sending to kids about floffing teen pregnancy? That everything is going to be this great love story that ends in marriage and romance? Get the f*ck outta here.

And Ricky and Amy working out just peachy. No, I'm sorry. That's not real life. Trevor and I had a hard enough time having a baby out of wedlock and we're in our late 20's. I wonder how this show is screwing up teenagers.

Good morning! I am anxiously awaiting the posting of bar results. I thought I'd get them yesterday but I didn't. Sads. Anywho they should be posted by 9:00 CST. I know I did everything I could to pass but what am I going to tell my bosses, H and EVERYBODY if my number is not on the passing list??!?!?!?!?

My cat would NOT let me sleep last night. She woke me up about 6 times, scratching the headboard. And about 4 times she got on top of me and sniffed my whole face with her little wet nose, including putting her nose in my ear. And THEN she woke me up about 20 minutes before my alarm went off and I covered most of my face with the blanket, and the little sucker pulled the blanket down with her paw! Now she gets to sleep all day after ruining my sleep last night. Bad girl.

I was trying to find a picture of me as a redhead. I liked it, but my issue is that it never looks 'real'. I love real red more than anything. But fake red? Meh. But I did find this picture that I have to post. I <3 this hair that my dad insisted on giving me all the time. I had to sleep in awful curlers every night and he'd use half a bottle of Aqua Net. This is why mommies shouldn't abandon their little girls.

Morning! I missed the pic, but I'm sure you look great LVB. And you were an adorable kid.

My day hasn't gotten off to a great start. I'm wearing a dress I mended last weekend and the park I stiched already came undone. So the slit in the back of my skirt is a few inches higher that in should be. I guess I'll just try not to leave my desk much today and resign myself to the fact that I'm not good at mending clothes. Oh, and I guess the fact that my ass is apparently too large for this dress.

In 2nd grade my dad cut my hair into the Dorothy Hammill wedge. Until that point i had long, thin, light brown hair. After he did that my hair darkened, to thinner, and has never been as long as it was before he cut it. I wish I could find a picture of that cut.
