    We want to go to Roatan, since we missed it.  Maybe we could coodinate trips and drink pina coladas together, oot.  :)

    It's me! lol

    My grandma's from Bradford, some of her family is still down there. The rest is just north of there, in Allegeny and Cattaraugus area in NY.

    You look so different!  That is to the west of where I was in NEPA.  I miss the mountains.  We are headed home (I still call it that) this weekend to visit my kids at college, check on the house, and visit my new grand twin niece and nephew!

    We ended up building a cabin down there, and go down a handful of times each summer. The nice weather we were having was making me really anxious to go!

    How exciting about the new babies, congrats and have fun!

    Well Gale for the obvious awful thing at the end of Mockingjay (not writing it for spoilers if people haven't read it), because honestly I was kind of half Team Gale until then. He struck me as sort of arrogant though. Peeta just never appealed to me, I can't explain it. I don't know. I think it was also because I felt that Katniss wasn't the marrying type so it skewed my perspective of them too.

    Hi.

    I go in late tomorrow and I'm so happy.  I only have 2 more days of this job.  

    Chef D has gone to daycare the last 2 days. He so active they moved him in the bigger guys.  He is so tired he can barely move.  DH and I are 'fighting' for him to snuggle with us. Yeah, we are jealous of the other when he picks them to snuggle with. We are lame.

    DH is making me watch 19 kids.  I don't know why he likes this show, but he does.

    All-Clad all the way.  







    What differentiates an average host and a great host is anticipating unexpressed needs and wants of their guests.  Just because the want/need is not expressed, doesn't mean it wouldn't be appreciated.

    I'm watching an episode of Chopped with a chef from a local winery/bistro. She was killed in a car accident about a month before her episode originally aired. Watching her on the show is kind of surreal.

    I work in the tourism industry, and wineries around here are a huge draw (second largest wine producing region in the country), so her death was really tough on the area.

    My BF's mom is hard to read. Sometimes I think she doesn't like me, and then sometimes she's super nice to me. BF says she's just very direct but softspoken at the same time, so it can be hard to interpret her tone. He insists she likes me, so I have to believe him. She is a really nice lady, so I hope that's true.
