Lunar, I like you a ton and respect you, but I have to say I feel this is an unfair assumption.

For the record, I don't agree with what Cate wrote on this thread today, but I do feel a lot of what's been said previously on the thread about her was unfair and rude.

If you'd like to know why Cate showed up today, it's because we were exchanging friendly emails, and I mentioned seeing this thread.

Cate saw this thread before today and your friendly e-mails. She posted it about it yesterday.

It really feels like she just came back over to add fuel to the fire.

I think it's great that you have a friendly relationship with Cate; I'm sure IRL she is really nice- and online she is just a bit abrasive. However- I have a friendly relationship with every girl on this board...so when she comes in an says, "So glad to see most of you are still the same trash-talking immature nitwits that I was used to" it's hurtful and offensive.

And I stand by my opinion that she was probably disappointed that not a single person from NEY went over to that board to antagonize her....so she came here to antagonize us. I might be wrong...but it's simply an opinion that I'm entitled to. I'm not saying she's a bad person...she probably isn't.

But what I do know...is that it's not very nice for her to come over and make these huge blanket statements. I was NEVER rude or mean to Cate. And to see that kind of generalized statement on the board...it makes me feel awful.

If this type of stuff happened often- I would consider leaving the board. However, since Cate has left- there really hasn't been any big drama among the regs. For this, I'm grateful.

I totally hear you when you express dislike for what she posted on here today. We basically agreed to disagree on that one.
