Ive been engaged for 4 months. He proposed twice, but his family didnt agree so we waited with ny ring in the jewerly box. I bought him a promise ring for our 1 yr anniversry. A few days later he said he didnt feel right wearing a ring when i wasent wearing mine. I replied, oh ok put it in the jewerly box next to mine. I went out to get some water and when i came back my ring was laying on my pillow and his on his and he said i didnt say it was going in the jewerly box, and got up from the bed and asked will you marry me. And of course i said yes...again.

Where did you get engaged?

We actually got engaged in the apartment we share together late at night. It was personal and sweet and he did get down on one knee. We got engaged on August 6, 2009, just about 2 months before our 3rd anniversary.

How long have you been engaged?

We've just passed the 3-year mark of our engagement, and will be waiting for another 2-3 years before finances will allow us to have the wedding we imagine (I have to finish my degree first, and then we plan to buy a house before marriage so that his credit won't be hampered down by my student loans).

I would love the hoodie to announce my off the market status since we still have such a long time to wait before our dreams come true.

We were engaged: I was distracted all day with recording music at a local studio. On the way home, we decide to stop for dinner. As we pull in to the parking lot, he says, "Wait a minute. I'll be a gentleman and open the door." He comes around to open the car door and when I look at him, he's on bended knee. I started crying instantly and dropped my cell phone onto the pavement.
