too early for a night thread?

Re: too early for a night thread?

• Well we trained Tory well in the cuddle dept, I can only imagine the new pup will be just as easily swayed into being cuddly. ;) So I can see that being arranged!

I asked Tory how she felt about getting a sister and she just huffled at me.
In Response to Re: too early for a night thread? : Lol trust me, we are too. It is gonna suck not taking her home the day we go pick her out but i know its for the best to wait until finals are over. When we pick her up, she will look more or less like this:

That puppy is freaking adorable.

• She will. She just will have to get used to sharing attention, but she will love having a friend, I think. She always wants to be friends with anyone and any dog, so I think it will be good for her.
image
• HAHA, when we told X about Gator she did a big old dramatic "I mean if you want to..." Sigh! I love that Tory huffed about it lol.
• Getting a second dog was great for some reasons and moronic for others. But I love that X always has someone to play with. If she was a bit younger I can only imagine how much fun they'd have together. Gator is constantly like "PLAY PLAY PLAY!!!" X is 10, so she's kinda like 'PLAAAAAAY, okay lemme nap now"

But they love each other now, right? ;)
image
• Yeah, since Tory is like not even 2 yet, I have a feeling she will love having a dog to run her energy out with. Plus this will help potty train the new pup, since she can just follow Tory's lead, and stuff.

• Evening! FI is enthralled in a video game, so I am on my own for the rest of the night.

MuSu, my family's black lab was an only dog for about 8 years before we got a puppy. She was grumpy with him at first, but eventually she began to enjoy having someone to play with and cause mischief with her.
image
• yes! good timing on getting another one for you :)

And yes, they like each other now. Or I should say Gator loves X, X likes Gator until it's nap time. She loves to lay and snuggle and Gator is more like if "I lay here I'm going to lick you." so we can't stay very still when he's in bed with us which annoys X.
• OH and about the puppy names- do you know the gender yet? I love Kirby for a boy and Minnie for a girl. You have some super cute ones on your list!
image
• Haha, that is kinda cute, how much Gator loves to be with X and lick her though, lol. Tory is like that but she does enjoy a good nap. It will be crazy to go through another "play play play like crazy, crash and nap, play play play, crash" phase for this puppy. That is pretty exhausting. Thankfully this time I won't have school which made studying really difficult when Tory was that young.

It will be a female. I know Kirby is more of a boy name but I like it for a girl (Can you tell I'm a Twins fan? haha)
image
• Haha- Kirby was the first baseball player I knew. When I was a kid, my dad used to point at the TV and ask, "Who's that?" because he thought it was so funny that I said that everybody- black, white, Twin or not- was Kirby Puckett.

• We got a kitten to keep our dog company. In hindsight, it was kind of a bad idea. The kitten gets into things and knocks them on the floor, which the dog then proceeds to chew. I love them both, but they sure do drive me crazy sometimes.

• Haha, that is cute, snail!

Chrissy you hush yo' mouth! Blasphemy. ;)

• Aww raes that is perfect. They are partners in crime.

My cat does the knocking things off the table thing, too, only for him to chew on them himself.

Aww, don't be nervous. :) I like when people put sigs up because then it's easier to figure out who's posting what as I'm scrolling/reading. I'm too lazy to look at names and avatars. ;)

Aw, no need to be nervous - it's nice to see your smiling face!

• Holly, that sounds incredibly frustrating. I'm so sorry. Good for you for putting your foot down.

• I think it was easier to hide behind my Juicifer sig and come out of my shell (no pun intended) but now I'm a little bit more comfortable.

Wrigley, I like your new sig a lot. You two are so sweet together. I didn't get a chance to say anything on your thread the other day, but my Ts & Ps have been with you guys.
Snail! Y'all are adorable!! How tall is your Fi?
Posted by LDYGTR13
<div>He is 6'4"! He is a whole foot taller than me. I've always liked tall guys, but it makes kissing standing up pretty difficult.</div><div>
</div><div>ETA: I was wearing heels the day this picture was taken, which is why he doesn't actually look a foot taller.</div>

But I love your puppy wedding picture! I would love to see a good one of your whole dress, though. It looks gorgeous in your sig!

• Ooh Snail. You're one of those. I'm 5'11. I've always been into tall guys, but most tall guys I've come across like you tiny chicks. No fair! I actually have a friend who's 4'10 and her H is 6'4 so your foot difference isn't THAT bad ;-).

H is 6'1 - he will point out tall guys with short girls just because he knows I'm jealous lol. Your Fi has the cutest smile. I wanna hug him. That's probably weird, eh?
