[QUOTE]How did the big party go Wally?  <strong>Crash, I bet your H loved that!  I just might put that on my list of things to do with H. </strong>

I did the thing off pinterest where you leave a note and go hide. <div>It was pretty good timing since he was having a terrible day.</div><div>A good time was had by all.</div>

  • GIrlie, it was AWESOME! 103 people were here! Here's all seven of us with the b-day boy!

  • I love to cook, I just hate the cleanup process.

  • Love it Wally!

Yep, definitely stealing that idea Crash.

  • Does anyone have make up recs?  I'm dissatisfied with what I use as it all seems to just sink into my 45 year old pores and crows feet.  Andplusalso, my skin is no longer full of zits, yay!  I started a new skin care regime and it caused breakouts, but now that I'm well into it on a daily basis, my skin has improved, but the make-up still just fades away.  Boo!
  • Wally, that's a great picture!

Tex, I'm the same way. I need a kitchen fairy to clean when I cook.
    image
  • Hah that's funny Tex because I will volunteer to clean after J is done if he does the cooking. For some reason cooking makes me irrationally upset.

Thanks! There was a better one with my step mom in it, but I can't get it off of shutterfly for some reason? I dunno.

I would love a kitchen cleanup fairy. Cooking is so fun!

My kitty is laying here just snoozin' away. She is such a sweetheart .

Llizzie, have you triied mousse makeup or the mineral stuff? I generally dislike foundation but have had pretty good luck with those types not fading.
    image
  • Lizzie, do you want something full coverage like foundation? I just use an almost transluscent powder from Neutrogena, and I love it, but if you're wanting full coverage, it wouldn't be for you.
    image
  • Brita it's more fun when you have your own kitchen, I never cooked until I did.
  • H is my clean up fairy.
If I cook, he cleans...sometimes. Not everyone can be perfect.
    image
  • Well I guess we are renting so it's not "our" kitchen, but no one else but us uses it right now lol. I still hate it. J will try to teach me how to make things but I have absolutely no interest. My kids are screwed unless J gets home in time to make them dinner.

  • If I had a kitchen fairy and a grocery fairy, FI would have homecooked meals every night.  Lol.

H and I split all household chores based on what we hate...

    me:
    laundry
    vacuum
    bathrooms

    him:
    dishes
    trash

    both: cooking
  • Hockey, I like that system!
  • glori: it works really well.  We occassionally do each others chores if we feel like it....but it definitely works to avoid someone getting annoyed for "always doing it"
  • Ew I hate vacuuming. Especially since now willow is here and she sheds a shitton more than Tory. So apparently the bridge I used to cross into MN every day is closing starting Sept 10 until the end of the year. Fuckballs.
    image
  • I do all the laundry. Nobody is to touch my laundry. I'm freakish about it.

H usually cooks and I bake. Sometimes I cook BUT when I'm working on losing weight (seemingly freakin' ALWAYS) I eat different things than the rest of the fam. Which is think is why it doesn't work. Meh.

Anyway, I dust and H vaccuums. Unless it is time for a 'deep clean' when I do both. We have a cleaning lady who comes every other Wednesday and she does the bathrooms and usually the ceramic tile floors. I love her and she's been with us for about 14 years.

  • It's more the color, like blush or eye make up that I'm wanting to change. My I use mineral foundation for daily wear and Perscriptives custom blend for special stuff (it's $75 a bottle  Surprised

<div>Ugh! Do they have the detour planned yet? And how far out of your way will you have to go?</div>

  • Hello ladies!
I think I found a great home for my little kitty that I've had since last fall.  I'm taking him to the vet tomorrow, and assuming all goes well, he will probably be going to his new house on Friday.  I'm sad he's leaving, but it's definately in his best interest since he won't be stuck in my bedroom all the time.  I never intended to keep him this long, but he's become my little buddy.

As far as chores go, my H is, for lack of a better word, useless.

<div>Dysons are amazing! We have a central vac now but I kept my Dyson for quick jobs when I don't want to haul out the hoses, etc. </div>

</div><div>FI does some of the housework, but he mostly does laundry.  But when I'm gone for Basic Training in October, if he wants to have a clean apartment, he'll have to do it all himself.  </div>
