I'm 30 and FI is 28. I am a forensic nurse specializing in sexual assault and he is a cruelty investigator with animal services. He gets to arrest people for being mean to animals. I love his job.

Are you engaged?
Yes!

How'd your FI ask? (short story please)
On one knee in our living room after a Percy Sledge concert. We had picked out the ring together, and I already knew it was going to be that weekend, and he was still nervous. It was so sweet.

Have you been lurking for a while, or did you just show up?
I posted on other boards, and mostly lurked this one for a while. Then just figured I liked the people on this one the best so started posting.

How has wedding planning been for you?
Not too bad. Ready to just be married already.

Mandy wants to know if you like pizza?
I love pizza! Plain cheese with extra cheese is my fav.

Alix wants to know if you like vampires, and which ones?
Not really into vampires.

Team Peeta or Team Gale?
No clue what that is.

Why don't you post more often? Do you think you will now?
I am usually only able to post in the mornings after FI leaves for work. He gets a little jealous of my TK time. Or he tries to read over my shoulder, which drives me nuts.

Oh - animals, do you have any? I'm sure a cute picture of an animal would make you some friends here.
I have 3 dogs. All of them are rescues, love them like they are my children.

I like Brad Pitt from Interview with a Vampire. Team Peeta or Team Gale? For me or for Katniss? I think she made the right choice, But for me, I am a Gale kind of girl.

 Oh - animals, do you have any? Two dogs and a cat. My cat is not fat, he is normal sized but pretty cool. One dog is in my avatar, I have a border collie and a mini-aussie (he's my baby) the collie is more of my FI's dog. I'm sure a cute picture of an animal would make you some friends here. I will get back to you. Hot FI's make friends fast too. Got one? I certainly like to think so :)

HAHA - we had just finished up painting the bathroom on a Sunday (which means that there are NO pictures because I look like pooo and totally covered in paint). We were eating some crab claws that my parents had brought over and drinking the wine. I turn around and he's shoving a claw in my face and asking me to inspect the "funny looking meat." Turns out he had wrapped the ring in a napkin and shoved it in to the claw.

Are you engaged? How'd your FI ask? (short story please) Yes, getting married 8/12. FI proposed at a winery in front of a group of my friends. He asked someone to take a pictures of us because we had an empty frame at home. Turns out he wanted someone to capture the engagement for me.

Have you been lurking for a while, or did you just show up? I had never been on here until FI proposed.

How has wedding planning been for you? Fantastic! My mom and I are having a great time with it!

FI and I are both 25. I'm graduating from law school in a couple of weeks, and in October I'll start in the tax group of a firm in Texas. I'm from Louisiana, and we're both huge LSU fans.

Yes, he made me peppermint hot chocolate and asked me on his balcony last November after LSU beat Bama.

I've lurked since I got engaged, just recently started posting more.

How has wedding planning been for you?

Easy. I wanted to have a tiny wedding, my parents wanted this huge to-do, so I gave in but the compromise is, mom's in charge of planning!

Love it! FI doesn't like veggie pizza though so I love ordering it when I'm home alone

Not really, I never got into Twilight or True Blood

I've been posting more now that school is winding down, and I might be around this summer depending on how intense bar studying gets.

I have two cats I adopted from the local rescue. One is sweet as pie, the other is a hell raiser. It's a pretty good balance, I adore them both. If I can figure out how to post a photo, I will.

Are you engaged? How'd your FI ask? (short story please) Yes. My FI attached the ring and a bell to our dog's collar. When I went to investigate the noise, I saw the ring.
