I mostly like fruity drinks, but I don't drink in public so I don't have them often since I'm way too lazy to make them myself. H is a beer guy and is a big fan of Yeungling (sp?) since he's from PA. I like that one, but mostly I can only stand lighter beers. Heb, the guy said he never toasts with the cheese on, just the bread. That's weird to me. I like my cheese slightly melted.

<div>I'm the same way. I have them put my cheese and tomatoes on then warm. It's so much better that way!</div>

Thanks! I actually think my waist looks smaller in the pic than in real life though. I can't wait to til the dress comes in and I can put it on again!

Nothing, that's all the dress. And I'm just going to wear it like that, I don't think it needs anything extra.

ETA - Edie, the belt is part of the dress.

• I love the top and the belt to the dress, angel. I'm not very girly, but I do like a little sparkle on wedding dresses.
• It's actually a lot less sparkle than I thought I would get, haha. Usually I'm all about the bling.

• Angel, I seriously loved all my fittings because it had been so long since I'd seen the dress. I annoyed my consultant on the last fitting because I kept saying "this is the second to last time I'll ever get to wear my dress" and didn't want to take it off.
• Ok so I went to go look at your photogs blog to see the other lady, Leisel. I disagree! She does look lovely in it but you both are sooo different in appearance and I think you fit the theme of the dress better. With your long locks flowing, it fits with the ethereal and flowy nature of the dress better. Her hair being slick and pulled back kind of cuts off that element and makes it look less dreamy.

• Hahah, Leisel, I could see myself doing the same thing. Although I totally plan to wear it around the house. That's not weird, is it? ;)

• Finally, the Olympics are on. I'm making H watch even though he doesn't really care.

You could always do a TTD, then you could wear your dress again!
• Well thanks, Musu and Angel! You guys are too kind. And Angel, I have already worn my dress around the house haha. But I couldn't zip it up by myself so I held it up and danced around alone. I'm a total loser :)

Nope! I'm definitely doing purple shoes, but I haven't chosen any yet and I have no idea about jewelry or a veil or anything. Although if I do a veil, I don't want anything longer than fingertip.

• I'm pissed that my local newspaper website had a spoiler for the swimming on it as a headline when I went there earlier. I understand international news outlets having it but wtf local newspaper? They clearly should know that a majority of their readers haven't seen it yet. ugh.

I am thinking about doing a TTD this winter. Since I didn't get any snow I kind of would like to dress up and get pictures of us in the snow.

• Evening! I should be packing but H and I just got home from an all day softball tournament and I'm beat.

I'm doing one a TTD too. I just need to think of something good..

• I don't really have a reason to do it except for my own self serving interest to look pretty and get pictures of myself again.
image
• TTD in the snow would be cool. Numbers (on SB) did one and her pics turned out beautiful. I'd be a wimp though, I hate the cold.
• I'm not doing a TTD.  I'm saving it for my PPD re-do.
• If I get a PPD re-do I'm going to Hawaii on the beach surrrounded by shirtless dudes fanning us, maybe one bikini lady for H. I'm gonna wear something tropical looking and be barefoot. Then we're going to honeymoon in a beach house right on the ocean and mingle with the locals.

I think I just want to go to/live in Hawaii.
In Response to Re: Night Thread-Talk to me : But I thought the whole point of a PPD redo was to do bigger and better!  Is my future plan all wrong?
Posted by edielaura
<div>Well, won't it be bigger and better to wear the same dress at 50 as I did at 30?  </div>
• Yeah I don't like the cold at all either but I wanted snow pictures so so badly. I would want J in the photos too. I would probably talk to my wedding photog about it and arrange it so that we have the pictures on a day that will guarantee snow and if its below a certain degree we will just reschedule. He's pretty flexible and won't have much going on in the winter.
image
• I'll be SUPER obnoxious about it too.  It'll be awesome.
• I could totally pick a new dress for a PPD. I had a bit of a panic attack when I couldn't decide between two dresses but only had one day to decide since there was a sale going on. It was awful. I still can't look at a picture of the other dress or I get sad, haha. So I'll have to track that one down for a PPD!
• I'm not sure if I want to do a TTD but I think I definitely want to do one year pictures in my dress. Is that weird? I just want an excuse to wear it again. I love my dress.
