No one started it. I don't think it was a planned "we're not doing ayg this week/anymore". Just no one willing to start it had a G to A.

And I think the board is boring for that reason. People don't have much to say these days.

I think people have a lot to say, just no balls to say it. So they talk about things like what they ate for lunch, dogs, etc.

Most people dont want to put an opinion on things out there that might not be taken well, so they stay very vanilla.

Because if you flame something/someone it leads to "OMG DON'T TELL ME WHAT/HOW TO POST."

I also don't think there's much to flame lately and very little drama so the only flames we have are for trolls, dumbass newbs, or completely weak flames.

Its not the drama that I miss Dot, its interesting conversation. There have been very few threads that garner more than a 1 or 2 page response that isnt a morning, afternoon, or night thread. And the only reason a few threads get really interesting is because of a handful of people who contribute and make it interesting.

ETA: and it seems as though the consensus lately is that those people who keep it interesting are not really wanted here anymore, so they are taking their leave.

It wasn't so much that she told her to getfucked that I expected people to bring up. I figured it would be more because in an earlier thread that day it was discussed that people don't get butt hurt over flaming a reg, and clearly that's not exactly the case. As far as flames go, I think that falls into the baby flame category, but Ricks seemed pissed about it, then as expected a couple of people felt like they needed to defend Ricks. <div>

I do miss current event talk. Those threads always dissolve into something far more interesting- or they used to.

Blue is right- the only threads that seem to move anymore are morning, afternoon and evening.. it gets a little bit boring. I would be lying if I didn't admit that now that I have more time to post, I still post less because sometimes the topics in those threads bore me.

I'll find that I censor myself. I probably shouldn't do it. I have an internal editor and I use it. The times when my head says, "Stupid cuntface", my fingers type, "I don't agree..." Maybe I should start saying "Stupid cuntface". It could lead to some interesting back and forth, I'm sure.
