Good Morning?

Re: Good Morning?

  • That's pretty fucked up, Les.

To me, Brandi, that dream could just be a way of expressing frustration?  The way you can't get over in traffic is like the things in life you can't control, and watching yourself in the accident is like a situation blowing up and there isn't anything you can do about it.

In my life I'm always chasing things that I can't quite get done, so there is a lot of running happening in my dreams.  Running away from something, or to something that I can't catch.  Or I'm trying to complete a task but there's just a bunch of shiiit happening around me preventing me from doing it.

    I loved that movie!

Brandi- The fact that you are worrying about it probably only makes it worse. You're letting it affect your awake time. I know I have had the same dream about an extremely creepy house that I cant get out of since I was a child. But, it's never came true.

Try and relax and think of something pleasent before you go to sleep tonight.

This may explain something with me as well, since I've been taking Estroven.

  • Ugh my post went away:  I shall paraphrase..

Brandi that dream would scare me.

I had a dream (when I was pretty young) where I was close to a runway watching a plane take off.  Mid take off the plane exploded.  It freaked me out and I woke up.  I then pretty much immediately fell back to sleeep and dreamt I was on a plane.  I look out the window as we are taking off and I see myself standing on the ground watching the plane take off.  I realize I am on the plane that is about to explode.  Then right as the explosion hits I wake up.  This is probably why I will not fly.
  • I don't really believe in dream interpretations unless they are blantantly obvious (like you dream of something you already know you're worried about). If they did have meaning, god I am seriously effed up in the head.

The meeting was ok. Fun in the beginning and some praise but ultimately it all came back to "you can still do better and we expect you to." So, whatever.

This actually makes a lot of sense with some of the other stuff I have going on in my life.  Interesting point of view.

Lbarr- that reminds me of that scene in Final Destination when the kids looses his shiiit and gets kicked off the plane and then it blows up.
  • That's a freaky dream Brandi. I'm glad I'm at the too tired/busy/not enough sleep point in my life again that I don't dream anymore.

Though with all these murder stories maybe I'll have one tonight ;)  Sesh and Les those are crazy stories. Les that's always unsettling to find out someone you know is capable of doing stuff like that.

  • If dreams really do relate to our lives Brandi - it's usually something like that.  It doesn't mean that you're going to die in a car wreck in the rain :)

Although I have had premonition dreams before.

I know this doesn't help anything.

  • I had a scary crash similar to that 3 years ago (hydroplaned and hit a median) but I walked away with only whiplash. Scariest 30 seconds EVER.

I was mostly mad because I was on the way to my Dads surprise 50th birthday party and his expensive custom cake got all kinds of smooshed and I had to call him and ruin the surprise.  I laid on the couch with ice and ordered pizza for everyone so he still had a great time.

    Hi,
My bf and I have been taking melatonin for quite a while but after I first suggested it to my bf, he had CRAZY dreams for the first few months. If we happened to watch Walking Dead before going to bed, he would wake up freaked right out.

I think it's normal to have vivid dreams with melatonin.

I agree.  I took melatonin only one time because of the intense/vivid nightmare I had that night.  It could be a coincidence, but I doubt it.
  • I dream a lot anyway, and the melatonin just makes it more fun.  I should write them down.  Many of you make appearances - last week kd kept telling me "Well, that's what BK said" over and over.  I don't remember why, but apparently BK knew best.

  • I love melatonin sleep. Like Les said, I am also a pretty vivid dreamer, so this just intensifies them, so it's nbd to me. But, it puts me in such a deep, restful sleep. I love it.

I've also read studies done that show a link between melatonin and a lower risk for breast cancer.
