Hi! It's GORGEOUS here today and makes me want to play hooky!! Good thing I sat outside at lunch and caught some rays. I like that my company has built a purpose-seating and eating area right outside the lunchroom doors.

So! What's up with y'all on this Thursday?

We have an outdoor eating area, and the geniuses who run the place decided it would be a great idea to put the smoking section right next to the non-smoking area. So yeah, unless you smoke, you can't eat outside.

I was in bed by 9 last night, which never happens. I was so exhausted and feel a little rested today, but it's still going to be another long-ass day at work.

Good Morning. Just got into work today. Today's high is 89! Crazy hot here this week, but I am not complaining one little bit. I love it. Next week it returns to the 70's. What season are you in over there snippy?

Long work day today. So that sucks, but I get my hairs did tomorrow so I'm just focusing on getting to that point. I'm so west side right now it's not even funny.

They have a covered picnic area with two tables by a pond here. It's really cute and quiet. Well except looking at pond scum, that's not appetizing. But you gotta take the good with the bad I guess.

There is a new guy at work who is driving me nuts. He just asked me for help because our sales team is stupid. He went off about words spelled wrong, missing information, etc, stuff we deal with every day. I told him that's just the way it was and he got all, "I'm going to talk to management. This is unacceptable and needs to be addressed."

Ah, the ignorant ideals of the newbs. Good luck with that, dude.

Sesh, that's stupid about the smoking area Maybe you should petition to have the smoking area moved. Course, I'm anti-smoking anyway, so I'd prefer to nix it full stop. ha.
Come to think of it, I'm surprised that no one smokes in our eating area since it's not designated as non-smoking. Huh.

Mica, Lucy woke me up at 6 this morning. I wanted to punch her (not really).

Morning! I slept like crap last night and realized at 9 PM that I have a paper due today, that I hadn't started! YAY. It was a mistake on my part, I thought we had until the last class (May 10th) to do it. It's teeny little book review, so I'm not worried, buuuuut that's why I'm in work way early, to work on it.

I talked with the landlord of the apartment yesterday, and I'm meeting him at 3:15 to check it out! I am so hoping that this goes through, I drove by the place yesterday and I love it already.

Snippy, I've tried. All they did was send out an email telling people not to smoke in the non-smokng area. No one listened and the smokers sit wherever they want. But even if they are on their side, you can stll smell it since they are like, three feet apart.

If I'm lucky, Berkeley lets me sleep until 8 on weekends, but I usually hear her pacing outside of the bedroom, occasionally whimpering if I sleep until 8:20. This is even if I do her pre-bedtime potty break at 2am. Her bladder is fine, she just wants me to be awake.

Good morning. Snips I'm ready to discuss on FB with you whenever you are!

My dogs wake me up everyday. Well really it's just the one, but she starts as early as like 6:30 somedays. I just stick her under the covers and she usually will fall back asleep. I can usually get that to work twice but by the third time she basically says get the eff up and feed us bitch. It's not even that they have to go out, because they actually refuse to go pee before they eat, they just stand at the door and stare in.

If H gets the dogs up and lets them out, they'll come back to bed and sleep with me all day. They're good little cuddle bugs.

Good Morning.

Yesterday I was really bummed after riding my horse. I miss competing, and this being an Olympic year, the year I was aiming for, I was being a bit nostalgic and got all depressed since I have nowhere to actually ride and no money to compete anymore. I was pretty down, and then I got home and learned I'd won an online contest for an air vest (it's like an air bag and it inflates if you fall off your horse when jumping). So that was cool. Now I don't know if I want to sell it and use the money to ride more this summer, or if I want to keep it because it's cool... and well... free.

Would you guys have any qualms about selling something you won? It was a pretty generous prize, and I could probably get at least $500 for it.

LTB - The shellac manicure I got three weeks ago is just starting to look bad. Love it!

Flutter - It's a glitch, nothing new there. The medal of the first person on each page of a thread dictates which medal will show up for everyone. Snippy is gold, therefore everyone else is too.

Bay - I really hope the apartment works out today!

I have plenty of places I can eat outside. The joys of working downtown.

I snapped at my dad last night because I was determined to finish my thank you notes last night so I was up "later that usual", only 11pm. He asked me if I was coming to work today because I was still up and I asked him if he was too. Slight overreaction from me? Maybe. I'm just sick of the double-standards. He stays up until at least midnight every night and only gets up an hour later than me. I'm 25, I'll go to bed when I want. Yes, I know I have work in the morning.

Go for a dark color LTB. I loved how long the Shellac manicures lasted, but they completely destroyed my nails after a few applications cause they strip off so much of your real nail during the removal. My nails were paper thin. It was bad.
