  • I just read this article on offbeat bride - the situation is a little different, of course, but proof that it does happen sometimes, and you're not alone.

  • This is such a major red flag!!! I don't think anyone is saying he shouldn't have a relationship with her, but if he sees her as his best friend and the most important person in his life then no one needs to look too far into the crystal ball to see that it is going to ruin your marriage. He's not over her. And I wouldn't marry the guy until he was.

  • So I guess maybe in our day and age where many more couples are divorcing because they should have never gotten married in the first place, this is becoming more of a thing. But I would never do this, ever.

    It's possible to remain on good terms with an ex and even a good thing when you have a kid, but she sounds like a creep and he isn't working with you. Something's very fishy here.

    ETA: just got your update. I'm glad that things seem to have resolved and I hope it stays that way.
