haha ditto this for me in the future. I'm a pretty fussy adult so I really don't want to deal with a baby version of me. Although, I do like to sleep and nap a lot so that would be a plus.
My boss isn't at work today - I'm so bored. If I couldn't knot I dont know what I'd be doing.
Apparently Best Buy has our number listed on a website somewhere as their number. I have gotten 6 calls already this morning from people looking for Best Buy. Most of the time they don't realize I dont say "Best Buy" when I answer the phone so they're like "You got my camera in stock?" or "My computer is broke" - *sigh*

Haha. That sounds like something my H would say. And it just about describes us as well. I am the high strung, stressed out lady while he is the laid back, could care less dude. I guess that is why we work together so well bc we even each other out.

Ditto this. I remember my dad always telling me when I was being bratty that he hopes I have one just like me, or worse, my sister (we're complete opposites, and I wouldn't know how to deal with a mini her).
Good luck on having a miniSalt! That's exciting even if you aren't actively trying. Sorry about the job, LVB. Hopefully they figure out what they are doing soon.
I hope she's just like you. Because we need more of you in this world.

Glad you're here Mandy! You're not on the baby train, are you? I'm thinking you hate babies?

Yeah but now the party is talking about babies and planning salt's baby shower. Not that I don't love salt. Salt is my fav. However, I don't do baby showers. unless there's booze and no lame games.
Nope no baby train for this girl. I was strongly against, and then for a good 3-6 months I was all, "yep we're having babies one day." And the last 2 months, I've been on the hell no train. I don't know what happened. I've been hanging out with really well behaved children lately too. And nope, no desire.
Well if you're going back and forth, I'd just go with it. Not saying you'll change your mind...but no need to be adament either way. I doubt you'd dump your baby off in a dumpster if you did have one, so I think it's all good

This is me. On the fence, not leaning in either direction. I don't have baby urges so that's proably why I'm not all ZOMG I have to have a baby NOW! (not saying that anyone on here is, but I know plenty of people in my life that are like that).
I want to have a baby some day, but that doesn't mean I like all children. In fact, the only children I actually like are my two nieces. The rest are snot-nosed little minions that I avoid like the plague. You can hate children and still want to have some of your own. And vice versa.
H and I had a funny conversation the other day about what if we had a baby with all of our worst traits, both physical and personality. We decided he/she would probably end up living at home with us forever and maybe eating cats that stray into the yard. It cooled my ovaries a bit.
My coworker's wife had a baby yesterday - H's best friend's wife (that I work with) had a baby in June - there's only 6 of us in this office - only 3 are of "baby having" age (everyone else is old). The concensus yesterday was that I need to have a baby.
Aww, I love kids. I guess working with me has had the opposite effect that everyone says they should have. All of my parents tease me and tell me after dealing with their children all day should be perfect birth control. I just laugh bc I know that I have always wanted kids.
I couldn't believe TJ's transformation. She was SO ANTI BABY! Then she said she looked at Buddy one day and told him they were going to have a baby. Then about 6 months later, she's having a baby! Crazy.

y'all know I'm on the baby train and actively TTC. But last night I had a pretty solid hour of "This is stupid. I really like my life." It went away this morning, but I'm pretty sure I'll have those moments for the rest of my life, even after we have a baby panda.
