I just had my dentist appointment last week...as far as a GP goes, I haven't been to one since I was 20 and the GP about panicked when she saw my chart. I have a congenital heart defect, so I am in the cardiologist office once a year minimum. I have always been really good with that. But I just don't see a GP and every time I'm asked for my doctor's name, I give them my cardiologist name.

Friday Confession: I have to clean my house...like badly. I'm picking my mom up from the airport tomorrow, and all I want to do is sit here on the knot, drink wine (which I'm not currently doing cause we don't have any right now), maybe watch some 16 and pregnant and crochet. I also don't want to write the 8 thank you cards that I need to write. They should write themselves...

Every time I bake cookies I set aside a few balls of cookie dough- I make sandwiches using two baked cookies and a ball of dough.

Confession: I went and got a pixie cut that I really loved at first... And now a few hours later, I want to cry because all of my hair is gone!

First world problem, I know... But darnit! Everyone is telling me I look EXACTLY like my Mother and it's grating on my nerves.

All this dentist talk! I just went in today to get a cavity refilled or something like that. My dentist looooves to give gas for not so invasive procedures, and I looooove to take it. I used to hate going until I discovered his "sweet air". Now I'm like, "I don't care what you're doin, just give me the good stuff". Novicaine (spelling?) ain't got nothin on this.

@ckel24 @jdluvr06 @Inkdancer Yes, let's get together and eat aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaall the things!!

I went to a gala with FI tonight and I stuffed myself stupid. The cocktail hour had shrimp cocktail, fried shrimp, stuffed mushrooms, bacon-wrapped scallops, and pastry puffs with cheese and spinach. I may or may not have been chasing down servers to get more food. Then I went through the buffet line, filling 2 plates. Then dessert. Holy cow, if I was more into desserts, I'd have been in trouble. Tiramisu, chocolate mousse cake, carrot cake, 2 different cheesecakes, fresh fruit, chocolate fountain, cannolis, fruit tarts, other pastries, AND an ice cream bar with freshly made waffles. I ate until I couldn't eat no more. And now that I'm home, I'm starving again.

Omg, if I can't find those dole things in Canada I will be making a special trip down to the states just to find those! Hooray for living ten minutes from the border!!!

ETA: I can see it now.... border crossing guard - "what's the purpose of your visit?"

Me - "I needs me some chocolate covered bananas and strawberries!!!!"

Despite working in a hardware store, I have no clue on anything plumbing. Something drips, I call a plumber.

Every single pair of jeans I currently own are stained or scuffed. It's from work, I have oodles of colorant stains seeing as those are basically straight up pigment and the dirt from general store fun no longer washes out. I refuse to buy more so I have the excuse to always wear a skirt outside of work.

I'm addicted to the new chocolate and peanut butter Poptarts.

In a "why am I so dang PMS-y today" fit, dinner was pickles and straight Koolaid powder.

Oh, and I'm so not sorry for starting up the taco obsession. Toxic Hell, chocotacos, the sketchy taco truck, the tacos at the weird gorilla place - I like Blucifer more than that gorilla. Whatevs. Hey, tacos.

My mom craved tacos during all her pregnancies. She'd kick my dad out of bed at midnight every night to go get her some from Toxic Hell. So I've loved tacos for longer than my whole life!

I have seen them at Shaw's. They were in the frozen organic and vegetarian food section.

I have a friend that lives on the US side of the border, works on the Canadian side. Sometimes she brings me American snacks. Tons of Canadians go across the border for cheap gas and various snack foods we can't get here. I always think the border guard thinks I'm lying when I say the purpose of my visit is to visit a friend.

ETA: I do always stop at the grocery store and gas station before I cross back into Canada.

Saturday morning confession:

As a direct result of those things noted in my Friday confession, namely a dangerous combination of baked and baking, with internet access:

I decided it was a good time to learn "flow " frosting techniques from YouTube tutorials, and now my kitchen looks like the frikking wreck of the Hesperus, with edible glitter sprinkled on the wreckage, and I'm a little sugar sick.

And for about four minutes yesterday, based on the name thread, was absolutely convinced that Grumbledore was my daughter, disguised with a beard. AHA! moment, followed by oh, Annabelle, you dumbass moment.

And I might have looked at cookies on Pintrest, and gotten a little carried away.

These are pretty frikking cute cookies for a first attempt, and I might try them again when I can both pipe and walk a straight line. I see potential here:

Thank you! Maybe for the kid table? If there is a kid table. Oh, I hope there's a kid table, so I can do something really really cute. (Repeating the MOB mantra: This is not my wedding. Calm the hell down. This is not my wedding.) Because kids always love cookies.

I am about 80% pleased with the results. They taste great. Almond flavored shortbread. God, sugar and butter are good things.

(Apologies if I seem AW - ish. I get very excited by cookies.)

Saturday confession: Last night I went to dinner with one of my BMs and we downed a pitcher of sangria before going to watch a high school musical. It was amazing. (This was her solution to me declining an invite to drink after the show because I am singing a concert today and didn't want to risk the hangover.)

Saturday confession: After my dress fitting today, my mom and I went for all you can eat sushi and mango ice cream. I ate till I couldn't eat anymore.... I don't need to fit in my dress, right?? Hahaha
